Senior WordPress Specialist

• Design and develop responsive websites using WordPress, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript • Customize WordPress themes and plugins based on business and client requirements • Create, update, and maintain website content through WordPress CMS • Develop clean, maintainable, scalable, and well-documented code • Build and maintain custom functionality using PHP and other relevant web technologies • Collaborate with internal team members to ensure proper integration of website design, functionality, and content • Manage code changes using version control systems such as Git or SVN • Test, debug, and optimize code to ensure websites function as intended • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to website development, functionality, performance, and maintenance • Ensure websites follow security best practices and are protected against common web vulnerabilities • Maintain website quality, performance, responsiveness, and usability across different devices and browsers • Support ongoing website enhancements, updates, migrations, and maintenance activities

Job Requirements

  • At least 5 years of experience as a WordPress Developer, WordPress Specialist, Web Developer, or similar role, with strong hands-on experience in building, customizing, and maintaining WordPress websites
  • Strong hands-on experience in WordPress development
  • Advanced experience customizing WordPress themes and plugins
  • Strong proficiency in PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
  • Experience developing responsive and mobile-friendly websites
  • Experience working with WordPress CMS, custom post types, page builders, plugins, and theme frameworks
  • Strong understanding of website security best practices
  • Experience using version control tools such as Git or SVN
  • Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to write clean, organized, maintainable, and well-documented code
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple development tasks with minimal supervision
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders
