Digital Media Quality Control Operator

• Review incoming audio, video or subtitle material, assess quality and prepare a detailed report. • Subject outgoing material to a final functional test and quality check of all video and audio content. • Verify content directly on VoD platforms for accuracy. • Document all technical and content-related anomalies of a media production according to specifications. • Perform work in our studio or remotely from home, depending on production demands. • Flexible scheduling and adjustment of quality checks to fit personal calendars.
Job Requirements
- You are generally familiar with film/video concepts (e.g. resolutions and aspect ratios).
- You have experience handling audio/video media and VoD platforms.
- High concentration and excellent visual and auditory perception are among your strengths.
- You are familiar with PC/Mac and common video player applications (e.g. Windows Media Player).
- You are time-flexible and ideally mobile to respond at short notice during high production periods.
- You are interested in a long-term position where you can assume significant responsibility.
- You are currently a student (preferably in a media-related field), but able to reliably commit at least 20 hours per month over an extended period.
- Ideally, after prior arrangement, you can come to our Trierweiler studio for particularly demanding quality control tasks during the onboarding phase to learn the basics of consumer experience QC on-site.
- You can communicate problems and relationships clearly and precisely in writing in German and English.
- You are exceptionally reliable and work in a structured and focused manner even under high workloads.
