Biomedical Technician, Level 1 – Level 2

• Perform performance assurance (PA) inspections, scheduled maintenance, electrical safety inspections (ESI), and operation verification procedures (OVP) on highly complex biomedical equipment and systems • Repair, install, and calibrate highly complex biomedical equipment and systems • Inform supervisors of the status of repairs, scheduled inspections, unusual equipment situations, and any customer concerns • Work with, direct, and document activities of subcontractors, vendors, and outside service technicians • Maintain biomedical expertise through ongoing training and education • Ensure the accuracy and integrity of the equipment database • Build and maintain customer relationships • Perform periodic inspections of current inventory status
Job Requirements
- Minimum 1 years’ experience working with biomedical equipment in a clinical engineering environment
- Complex computer skills required, including ability to administrate a system, interpret error codes, defragment hard-drives, replace power supplies, interpret computer codes, and apply networking concepts
- Ability to integrate information from a variety of sources
- Valid driver’s license required; variable travel requirements depending on primary site
- Associate degree in electronics, biomedical engineering, or a related field—or equivalent hands-on experience

• We are looking for a detail-oriented Senior Estimator to deliver accurate and competitive cost estimates across structural, mechanical, and industrial projects. • This role is key to driving project success through timely submissions, strong technical analysis, and effective collaboration with cross-functional teams. • Prepare accurate, detailed, and commercially competitive cost estimates for structural steel, mechanical, piping, fabrication, maintenance, and industrial projects. • Interpret engineering drawings, P&IDs, technical specifications, scopes of work, and project documentation to develop complete estimating submissions. • Perform detailed quantity take-offs and material take-offs for labour, materials, equipment, subcontractors, and associated project costs. • Develop bottom-up estimates using established company estimating templates, methodologies, and pricing tools. • Manage multiple Requests for Quotation (RFQs) concurrently while maintaining accuracy and meeting required deadlines. • Deliver estimates within agreed turnaround times, typically ranging from 7–10 days for standard projects and up to 2–3 weeks for larger or more complex opportunities. • Ensure all tender and quotation submissions are accurate, commercially competitive, compliant, and submitted on time. • Support estimating requirements for reactive maintenance works, shutdown projects, urgent fabrication requests, and breakdown-related activities. • Provide rapid pricing support for ad-hoc client requests and emerging project opportunities. • Build and maintain strong working relationships with key clients through responsive and high-quality estimating support. • Support business growth initiatives by contributing to new project opportunities, tenders, and strategic client pursuits. • Continuously review estimate performance and identify opportunities to improve turnaround times, pricing accuracy, and win rates. • Assist in refining estimating methodologies, pricing databases, and internal estimating processes to improve efficiency and consistency. • Maintain accurate records of estimates, assumptions, pricing inputs, supplier quotations, and supporting documentation. • Work within company systems including estimating workbooks, SharePoint, document management platforms, and project records. • Collaborate closely with operations teams, project managers, workshop personnel, fabrication teams, and management to ensure estimates align with operational capabilities. • Participate in estimate reviews, tender discussions, project planning meetings, and internal commercial reviews. • Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and commercial excellence. • Other role specific duties as they arise.
