• Lead a team responsible for maintaining a profitable and healthy business through joint business planning with key customers • Deliver growth through maximizing core and expanding new distribution for the Wella portfolio • Become an expert on Wella brand strategies and product portfolios • Work in conjunction with team and internal business partners to create and execute a 4P strategy at the customer • Have full ownership of all levels of the customer P&L • Communicate progress and risk effectively to management on a consistent basis • Train & lead account managers to sell, implement, and evaluate business plans to meet or exceed financial objectives • Coach account managers to manage and improve distribution, pricing, shelving, and merchandising • Develop productive working relationships with key customer contacts
Job Requirements
- 8-10 years prior experience in consumer package goods sales / trade marketing environment
- Experience working with top national retail accounts
- Bachelor’s degree; MBA preferred
- Proactive approach – take initiative to do what’s needed for the business
- Strong Business analysis skills, detail oriented
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams with a customer-focused mindset
- Ability to lead & influence the cross-functional team
- Knowledge of beauty, hair, nail, and personal care category is a plus
