Role Description Reporting to the ACX Payroll Team Lead, the Payroll Clerk is responsible for the entire function of the divisional payroll process. This includes: - Ensuring accurate and timely processing of payroll, monthly, quarterly, and annual remittances. - Maintaining employee information. - Processing bi-weekly, weekly, and semi-monthly full cycle payroll for multiple locations across Canada. - Processing new hires, changes, and terminations in the payroll system. - Working with the Human Resources Manager to facilitate onboarding, terminations, and employee changes. - Being the point of contact for all payroll and benefit-related inquiries. - Maintaining the electronic file system. - Responding to inquiries and requests from employees, management, and government agencies. Qualifications - Payroll Compliance Practitioner (PCP) an asset. - 2 years full cycle payroll experience. - Benefit administration an asset. - Quebec payroll processing experience an asset. - Knowledge of French an asset. - Familiarity with ADP payroll software an asset. - Strong attention to detail. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office. - The ability to professionally handle confidential matters and show appropriate level of judgment. - Strong sense of ethics and integrity.
