Role Description As Financial Analyst III – Treasury & Investments, you will support the team in the oversight of product pricing (loans & deposits), liquidity, business & investment services, interest rate risk, investments, and capital market activities. This position performs various finance, accounting, and treasury-related functions for Golden 1 Credit Union, including but not limited to: - Trade operations - Data preparation - Market research - Financial reporting - Financial analyses - Maintaining financial systems/models directly related to the Credit Union’s treasury & investment functions Employees in this area are cross-trained in several aspects of finance, treasury, and other relevant analytical functions and will assist the Treasury team in special projects with a focus on leveraging technical and predictive analytical tools and programs for data-driven results. Qualifications - Bachelor's degree required in finance, accounting, mathematics, economics, business administration, information technology, or another quantitative related field. Other degree types will be considered with relevant experience combined with strong technical experience. - 5+ years or more of progressive finance, accounting, banking/credit union experience or 5+ years of analytical and strong technical experience is required. Requirements - Power Excel user; experience building advanced dashboards with business intelligence tools. - Ability to use statistical programs and data wrangling tools to assemble complex datasets and perform advanced analyses. - Strong research, quantitative and qualitative data collection, and report building. - Self-starter with strong time management and organizational skills. - Ability to multi-task effectively and make sound decisions in the absence of detailed instructions. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex data succinctly. - Detail-oriented, critical thinking problem solver who continually seeks to learn new concepts and acquire new skills. - Advanced technical skills and/or experience in Bloomberg API, S&P Global API, R, Power BI, Python, VBA, SQL, Fixed Income Security Analysis, Bond Accounting, Security Settlement & Wire Confirmation, Asset/Liability Management, and/or Cash & Liquidity Management. The Credit Analyst reviews, analyzes, and evaluates consumer loan applications and based on their judgment approve, modify or deny consistent with credit union guidelines.
