Job Description
Implementation Technical Lead
Blossom
Role Description We're looking for an Implementation Tech Lead to own the technical delivery of new client onboarding from end to end. You'll lead data migrations, platform configurations, and go-live execution for new cooperatives joining the Blossom platform while building the systems and standards that make every future implementation faster and smoother. This is a high-impact role for someone who's equally comfortable writing migration scripts and leading a cross-functional kickoff call. What You'll Do - Own the full technical lifecycle of client implementations: discovery, data migration, platform configuration, testing, and go-live. - Design and execute data migration strategies for core banking and digital banking systems, ensuring data integrity and clean launches. - Build and maintain standardized implementation playbooks, tools, and automation to reduce delivery timelines. - Serve as the primary technical point of contact for clients during onboarding, translating business requirements into technical solutions. - Lead and mentor the implementation engineering team, setting technical standards and best practices. - Coordinate across Engineering, Product, DevOps, Customer Success, and Operations to ensure seamless handoffs and on-time delivery. - Proactively identify and mitigate technical risks before they reach production. - Drive continuous improvement of implementation processes, tooling, and documentation. Qualifications - 5+ years of experience in technical implementation, solutions engineering, or integration roles ideally in fintech, banking software, or SaaS platforms. - Proven track record leading complex data migrations (ETL pipelines, validation frameworks, reconciliation processes). - Strong hands-on technical skills: SQL, Python or similar scripting, REST/SOAP APIs, and cloud infrastructure basics. - Experience in a tech lead or senior individual contributor role with cross-functional coordination responsibilities. - Comfortable owning client-facing technical conversations; able to explain complex topics clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences. - Ability to manage multiple concurrent implementations without losing quality or visibility. - Familiarity with core banking systems, digital banking platforms, or cooperative/credit union operations is a strong plus. Nice to Have - Background in cooperative or credit union environments. - Experience building implementation frameworks or onboarding automation from scratch. - Exposure to DevOps practices (CI/CD, containerization, deployment pipelines). - Bilingual (English/Spanish). Benefits - 100% Remote Work - Mentorship from experienced product and banking professionals - Multicultural collaboration with teams in Colombia and the U.S. - Real exposure to the American financial market - Growth path into senior product or leadership roles as the product scales
