Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, or equivalent certification
- 7+ years experience in accounting, with mining industry experience preferred
- Experience working with multiple currencies
- Strong knowledge of SYSCOHADA, IFRS & US GAAP
- Fluency in both French and English, written and spoken
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to quickly learn new tools as needed and solve new problems continuously
- A high degree of independence and the ability to work effectively with limited supervision
- Flexibility to accommodate meetings with staff/vendors overseas
- Experience interfacing with DRC regulatory bodies including DGI, CPCC, ARSP
- Interest in learning about mineral exploration and being a close partner to the exploration project teams
