Senior Manager, Category Strategy, Data Analytics
Campbell's
• Manage the Campbell Snacks syndicated budget through ownership of 3rd party data partnerships to ensure strategic allocation of investments among key customers and manage payment, tracking and future spend forecast • Be the expert on current and emerging capabilities Campbell’s Snacks should buy to run a best-in-class selling organization • Build and manage training plan for immediate team and relevant cross functional partners to develop key capabilities by identifying training opportunities and gaps and coordinating training sessions with external partners or internal subject matter experts • Collaborate with Campbell Meals and Beverage division to facilitate best-in-class analytical processes across Category Leadership, Category Strategy, and Shopper Insights • Responsible for leading sessions on industry thought leadership and relevant macro trend research provided by vendor/agency partners • Create and maintain a centralized location for all tools and relevant training materials • Manage Snacks Division distribution forecasting model which provides leadership and cross-functional teams with visibility to expected distribution changes that will materially impact division sales and growth. • Coordinate communication of distribution forecast to cross-functional teams as an input into AOP and monthly planning processes as well as the distribution building block in the quarterly IBP demand call • Develop, automate and maintain recurring and ad-hoc reporting needed across Category Strategy and Category Leadership teams • Translate complex data into clear insights for monthly business review provided to senior leadership for monthly planning processes (IBP) • Key participant in Annual Operating Plan and Strategic Planning related to distribution supporting Senior Director, Shopper Insights & Category Strategy
Job Requirements
- B.A. required
- 8+ years of related experience
- Circana and/or Nielsen (NIQ) syndicated data experience required
- Project or budget management experience
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g. PivotTables, formulas, data validation; Power Query preferred)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, including presentation skills
- Strong financial acumen
- Ability to work with a wide variety of individuals within the organization and maintain regular contact with all stakeholders.
- Category Management/Leadership, Sales or Business Intelligence background preferred (Nice to have)
- Category Management software understanding
- Loyalty card experience preferred (e.g. Market 6, 84.51)
- High degree of self-motivation and discipline
- Experience building and maintaining dashboards in Power Bi
- Team oriented with the ability to work independently
- Initiative and ability to work with various individuals and groups inside and outside the company progressing towards a common goal.
