Enterprise Architecture Data Analyst

• Curate, maintain, and improve metadata within the Enterprise Architecture Repository, ensuring alignment with architecture frameworks, taxonomies, and governance standards. • Partner with Enterprise Architects and stakeholders to collect, validate, and structure data related to applications, technologies, capabilities, and business processes. • Support the Architecture Practice Manager with data management and metrics related to our architecture practices. • Conduct regular data quality reviews and implement controls to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency of architecture data. • Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations that provide insights into architecture health, technology lifecycle, and strategic alignment. • Support the implementation and administration of EA modules, including data model configuration, data imports, and user enablement. • Collaborate with architecture and IT governance teams to define and enforce metadata standards, naming conventions, and stewardship responsibilities. • Identify and implement process improvements that enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of architecture data management. • Provide training and support to architects and contributors on repository usage, data entry standards, and reporting capabilities. • Stay current on EA capabilities and industry best practices in architecture data management. • Conduct interviews and facilitate surveys with application owners and support teams to gather architecture metadata. • Design and implement repeatable methods for collecting and validating application and technology data. • Develop and manage data imports and exports between EA and other systems (e.g., Excel, Access). • Review existing architecture data and reports to identify and resolve data quality issues. • Follow up with stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate data collection and updates. • Ability to quickly surface enhanced data for consumption. • Ability to manage and capture ad hoc and formal data and add to repositories.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 2+ years of experience in data analysis, data governance, or information management.
- Familiarity with enterprise architecture concepts, frameworks (e.g., TOGAF), or tools.
- Strong SQL skills and experience working with structured data sets.
- Ability to translate technical data into business-relevant insights.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work across technical and non-technical teams.
- Experience with metadata management, data stewardship, or architecture modeling tools.
- 5+ years of experience in business or data analysis, preferably supporting internal IT or architecture initiatives.
- Experience working on IT-led projects where IT is both the customer and executor.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and deliver high-quality results in a fast-paced environment.
