• Conduct in-depth interviews and technical assessments of potential corporate finance, FP&A, accounting, tax, treasury, and internal audit candidates, demonstrating the ability to anticipate hiring manager preferences through high interview-to-offer ratios. • Engage passive finance and accounting candidates using LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean strings, referrals, SOBO campaigns, and specialized finance networks, professional associations, and industry events. • Partner closely with Finance & Accounting Leadership (CFO, VP of Finance, Controllers) to understand team needs, define role requirements, and craft compelling value propositions specifically for corporate finance talent. • Drive a diverse talent pipeline into the organization ensuring a positive candidate experience at every touchpoint, from initial outreach to offer acceptance. • Represent Anduril's brand and recruiting team internally and externally, articulating our unique business model, scale, and financial impact. • Leverage internal resources and market insights to build strategies around selling our value proposition to top-tier finance talent.
Job Requirements
- 5+ years of direct, full-cycle recruiting experience specifically focused on finance and accounting roles, including FP&A, general accounting, audit, tax, treasury, and strategic finance.
- Proven experience conducting thorough competency assessments and evaluating finance capabilities (e.g., GAAP/IFRS standards, financial modeling, audit processes, cost accounting, and strategic planning) against technical and cultural requirements.
- Deep understanding of the finance and accounting landscape, including current industry trends, key certifications (CPA, CFA, CMA), and familiarity with financial planning and ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, Workday, Anaplan, advanced Excel).
- Experience managing strategic stakeholder relationships, particularly with Finance Leaders and Hiring Managers, driving strategic recruiting efforts based on business needs, profile calibration, and providing transparent pipeline progress via reporting.
- Experience acting in a consultative manner, where your guidance on market conditions, talent availability, and candidate expectations has led to improved outcomes and a positive candidate experience within the finance and accounting space.
- Clear and effective communication with finance candidates to understand motivation, drivers, and cultural fit within a fast-paced, high-impact organization.
- Experience managing various funnels of finance candidates and keeping track of their progress throughout the recruitment process using an ATS.
- Highly autonomous but highly collaborative, thriving in a dynamic, high-growth environment.
- Must be a U.S. Person due to required access to U.S. export controlled information or facilities.

• Support financial management of sponsored research programs, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance • Prepare and analyze general ledger entries, account reconciliations, and budget-to-actual reports • Assist with award setup in financial systems by coordinating documentation and collaborating with SPA • Manage invoicing and accounts receivable (A/R) to ensure accurate billing and timely collections • Develop and format financial reports and dashboards for internal leadership review • Contribute to bi-monthly deficit reporting and support leadership decision-making • Process journal entries, budget adjustments, and activity closeouts in alignment with sponsor timelines • Maintain knowledge of sponsor regulations and institutional policies to minimize compliance risk • Provide guidance and training to staff on financial reporting and systems
• Reporting to the Senior Director of Research Operations, you will oversee critical aspects of sponsored program financial management, including complex reporting, audit readiness, compliance oversight, and system optimization. • You will serve as a trusted partner to Finance, Sponsored Programs Administration (SPA), and research leadership—while also mentoring junior analysts and championing continuous improvement initiatives. • Lead the preparation and review of complex financial reports, reconciliations, and analyses for sponsored programs. • Oversee financial activity management for BMC and PVLSI, including coordination of year-end audit documentation. • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and sponsor regulations, proactively monitoring and applying updates to workflows. • Serve as a subject matter expert in Lawson Grants Management, maintaining system integrity, troubleshooting issues, and driving enhancements. • Manage invoicing, cash draws, and accounts receivable, ensuring timely billing and collection. • Prepare, review, and submit journal entries, budget adjustments, and financial corrections. • Partner with Accounting, SPA, and internal teams to ensure timely activity setup, maintenance, and closeout. • Identify and lead process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, scalability, and reporting accuracy. • Provide mentorship, guidance, and training to Research Financial Analysts (I & II), fostering a culture of accountability and development. • Support and lead change management initiatives to improve financial operations and consistency.
