• Support financial management of sponsored research programs, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance • Prepare and analyze general ledger entries, account reconciliations, and budget-to-actual reports • Assist with award setup in financial systems by coordinating documentation and collaborating with SPA • Manage invoicing and accounts receivable (A/R) to ensure accurate billing and timely collections • Develop and format financial reports and dashboards for internal leadership review • Contribute to bi-monthly deficit reporting and support leadership decision-making • Process journal entries, budget adjustments, and activity closeouts in alignment with sponsor timelines • Maintain knowledge of sponsor regulations and institutional policies to minimize compliance risk • Provide guidance and training to staff on financial reporting and systems

• Reporting to the Senior Director of Research Operations, you will oversee critical aspects of sponsored program financial management, including complex reporting, audit readiness, compliance oversight, and system optimization. • You will serve as a trusted partner to Finance, Sponsored Programs Administration (SPA), and research leadership—while also mentoring junior analysts and championing continuous improvement initiatives. • Lead the preparation and review of complex financial reports, reconciliations, and analyses for sponsored programs. • Oversee financial activity management for BMC and PVLSI, including coordination of year-end audit documentation. • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and sponsor regulations, proactively monitoring and applying updates to workflows. • Serve as a subject matter expert in Lawson Grants Management, maintaining system integrity, troubleshooting issues, and driving enhancements. • Manage invoicing, cash draws, and accounts receivable, ensuring timely billing and collection. • Prepare, review, and submit journal entries, budget adjustments, and financial corrections. • Partner with Accounting, SPA, and internal teams to ensure timely activity setup, maintenance, and closeout. • Identify and lead process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, scalability, and reporting accuracy. • Provide mentorship, guidance, and training to Research Financial Analysts (I & II), fostering a culture of accountability and development. • Support and lead change management initiatives to improve financial operations and consistency.

• Identify and develop new business opportunities while maintaining and expanding relationships with existing investment management clients. • Provide comprehensive service including public funds investment, client education, presentations, reporting, and regular meetings. • Deliver knowledgeable presentations to Councils, Boards, and investment committees about California CLASS and related offerings. • Work closely with senior team members on sales and marketing initiatives, ensuring seamless follow-up with clients and internal stakeholders. • Represent the firm at local industry conferences and associations to enhance visibility and engagement. • Evaluate and advise on client investment policies. • Develop innovative methods for educating clients and prospects on current market trends and investment opportunities. • Maintain accurate call reports, prospect lists, and opportunities within the CRM system (Salesforce or similar preferred).

• The Sage X3 Functional Consultant’s (FC) role is to plan, design, develop, and launch efficient information and operations systems in support of core organizational functions for Net at Work’s clients • Using both business and technical skills, the FC works directly with customers to identify business requirements with enough detail and clarity to allow technical solution proposal development • The FC will apply proven communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills to help identify, communicate, and resolve systems issues in order to maximize the benefit of IT systems investments • Delivery of all projects in a defined area; ensure projects are completed at or ahead of schedule, costs are managed to budget, and customer expectations are exceeded • Work with clients throughout system testing and product acceptance phases to ensure quality and customer satisfaction • Support sales team with business opportunities by assisting with estimate and proposal generation, performing demos, and responding to customer Pre-sales requests as needed • Manage and support relationships and install products for existing clients.
