Commercial Loan Officer
Peak Credit Union
• Develops, grows, and manages a portfolio of quality, member business loan relationships. • Identifies and develops new member business loan opportunities through networking methodologies and community involvement. • Develops profitable networks within the business community. • Negotiates terms and conditions within commercial lending policies and procedures. • Maintains knowledge of competitor rates and programs. • Performs interviews and consultations with prospective business loan members. • Meets monthly loan production and profitability goals. • Supports a strong relationship banking culture through product knowledge and marketing.
Job Requirements
- Minimum of five (5) years experience in a high-volume, production-oriented, commercial lending role or equivalent position.
- Valid driver's license to drive fleet vehicles in course of work.
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Business, or Economics or related field of study.
- Certifications: Risk Management Association (RMA) Lending Certifications.
- Experience with investor commercial real estate, C&I lending, and business deposit products.
- Strong networking and relationship management skills.
- High level of consultative selling skills, negotiation and presentation skills, with a history of successful outside sales experience.
- Ability to understand complex business loan requests, evaluate overall financial capacity of borrowers/guarantors, and identify strengths and weaknesses.
