Program Manager – Adaptation and Resilience
ClimateWorks Foundation
• Overseeing all aspects of the A&R Fund, which includes direct grantmaking, any future requests for proposals, Advisory Committee, fund governance, and development of new strategic windows of the fund. • Managing timelines, processes, and tasks for the A&R Fund • Conducting annual reporting to funders • Ensuring grants are efficiently processed • Coordinating with team members on activities and deadlines • Maintaining regular communications with grantees • Developing and tracking contracts and agreements • Preparing internal and external communications relevant to the work • Liaising closely with internal colleagues and external partners when needed • Leading cross-functional projects with medium to high resource requirements • Developing standards, tools, knowledge requirements for the A&R program
Job Requirements
- Excellent project and program management skills with strong attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize working on multiple projects simultaneously while meeting internal and external deadlines
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to interact effectively with donors, external partners and grantees, management, and colleagues at all levels
- Ability to work successfully and contribute to the team while operating in a virtual or hybrid environment
- Ability to evaluate issues and make decisions under little supervision
- Ability to solve complex problems and identify viable pathways / solutions
- Ability to anticipate issues, especially related to grantmaking, and make recs for improvement
- Strong critical thinking, research, analytical, and organizational skills
- Proficiency with project management tools, excel and Microsoft tools, and salesforce/Fluxx is preferable
- At least 7 years of work experience in a fast-paced environment
- A commitment to a diverse, inclusive and equitable work environment
- Ability to juggle numerous competing demands and priorities, respond quickly to management requests
