Job Description
Marketing Director
Intellicene
Role Description Intellicene is seeking a strategic, global, hands-on AI first marketing leader to own and elevate our marketing function and join the senior leadership team. Reporting to the CEO, the Director of Marketing will set the marketing strategy, lead the team, and run marketing as a revenue engine generating qualified pipeline alongside Sales and Business Development while sharpening how we position our physical security software platform against incumbents in the VMS and PSIM market. This is a global leadership role responsible for supporting marketing initiatives across North America, Southeast Asia, India, and other international markets. The successful candidate must be comfortable collaborating with global teams, customers, partners, and stakeholders across multiple time zones. Given the international scope of the business, flexibility outside of traditional business hours is occasionally required to support key meetings, events, and strategic initiatives. This role is ideal for someone who operates as both a thinker and a builder: someone who can analyze and define our positioning, craft a compelling, differentiated narrative for Intellicene VMS, Control and NowForce, and then roll up their sleeves to bring that story to life across channels. You will own the full marketing mix - from brand, content, and demand generation to product marketing, events, and marketing operations; and you will be expected to lead with innovative AI-first marketing practices. If you are energized by tools, data, storytelling, and the rapidly evolving role of AI in how buyers discover and evaluate software, this role is for you. Qualifications - 10+ years of B2B marketing experience, including 3+ years’ leading and scaling teams; experience reporting into or operating alongside an executive team. - Track record in B2B SaaS or enterprise technology; physical security, security software, or hardware-plus-software experience strongly preferred. - Demonstrated ownership of GTM strategy, positioning, and messaging, with proven ability to translate customer insights into campaigns. - Demonstrated ownership of marketing budgets and measurable pipeline and revenue results. - Demonstrated experience leading global or multi-regional marketing programs, with the ability to effectively engage stakeholders across different cultures, markets, and time zones. - Ability and willingness to operate in a global business environment that occasionally requires flexibility outside of standard business hours to support international teams, customers, partners, and events. - Strong understanding of pipeline generation and revenue impact, with the ability to balance long-term strategy and near-term execution. - Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to drive alignment and accountability across stakeholders. - Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related field (technical background or MBA a plus). Requirements - AI fluency and AI Optimization (AIO) as core competencies, not optional extras. - Proven ability to optimize content, messaging, and digital properties for AI answer engines and generative search. - Experience with structuring web content, FAQs, and knowledge assets for AI systems. - Hands-on fluency with AI marketing tools for content creation, research, campaign ideation, copy generation, audience segmentation, and creative production. - Ability to embed AI into marketing operations and workflows to increase team velocity and output. - Use of AI-driven analytics and insight tools to measure performance, model demand, and inform positioning and GTM decisions. - Demonstrated curiosity and a self-directed habit of evaluating and adopting emerging AI capabilities. - Awareness of how AI reshapes the physical security software buyer's journey. Benefits - Opportunity to shape the marketing voice of a company that is unifying security and enabling action for organizations worldwide. - Support for professional growth and development.
