Patient Intake Specialist
Upstream Rehabilitation
Role Description Join the Upstream Rehabilitation team and make a meaningful impact on patients’ lives every day. As a Patient Intake Specialist, you’ll play a key role in helping patients access the care they need; coordinating referrals, gathering important information, and scheduling appointments with the right clinic for therapy or functional testing. You’ll be part of a team that’s dedicated to delivering a seamless, supportive experience for every patient. - Help patients get the care they need by scheduling evaluations, treatments, and specialized testing (like FCEs) quickly and accurately. - Review referrals and medical documentation to make sure every appointment is set up for success. - Match patients to the right clinic or specialist using internal tools, ensuring the best fit for their care needs. - Serve as a key point of contact for case managers, attorneys, and other partners; keeping communication clear, timely, and tailored to their preferences. - Keep a pulse on scheduling activity by monitoring reports and identifying trends or issues, then partnering with your team to find solutions. - Build strong, lasting relationships with clinics and referral partners to support a seamless patient experience. - Stay organized and proactive, tracking outreach, resolving scheduling challenges, and helping the team meet its goals. - Other projects and duties as assigned. Qualifications - High school diploma or equivalent - Experience helping customers or patients in a phone-based or fast-paced environment - Strong communication and relationship-building skills - Ability to stay organized, multitask, and problem-solve with a calm, professional approach - Comfortable using Microsoft Office and learning new systems and tools. • Conduct deep market analysis on the India FX/CFD landscape, including client segments, trading behavior, deposit and withdrawal expectations, trust barriers, retention patterns, and growth potential. • Build a clear view of the competitive landscape, including how offshore brokers position themselves, acquire clients, use IB and affiliate networks, localize their offering, and convert market demand into revenue. • Monitor changes in the legal and operating environment affecting India, including restrictions around resident participation in offshore leveraged forex and CFD activity, and translate these into practical business implications. • Identify why certain competitors are succeeding in India, including advantages in product, pricing, payment experience, speed, partner networks, local relevance, service model, or execution quality. • Evaluate gaps in the company’s current India approach and recommend realistic improvements across go-to-market strategy, channel mix, partner model, customer journey, and local operating support. • Provide structured, commercially useful recommendations to leadership on whether India should be prioritized, how the market should be approached, and what level of HQ versus local ownership is needed. • Work closely with regional and HQ stakeholders to convert market insight into action plans, operating priorities, and better alignment across teams. • Support the development of practical frameworks, playbooks, and SOPs that improve decision-making and execution for the India market.
• Planning: Independently plan routes and prepare for test purchases. • Accompanying test purchases: You organize and accompany test purchases with young people to verify compliance with sales bans on alcohol, tobacco and age-restricted media. • Direct feedback discussion: Immediately after the test purchase you provide professional feedback to the staff. • Reporting: You document the results accurately and promptly in our digital reporting tool via smartphone.
