Role Description The Nurse Practitioner is a key clinical provider within our Women’s Metabolic Health program, delivering comprehensive, specialized care to women across the lifespan. This role focuses on the interconnected dimensions of metabolic, mechanical, and mental health, providing evidence-based, patient-centered care that empowers women to achieve sustainable wellness. This is a full-time (40 hours/week, Monday through Friday, no weekends) virtual position in Kentucky. - Practices under established NP Standard Procedures, consistent with organizational policy and all applicable state and federal regulations. - Conducts age-appropriate, full-scope assessments, including detailed histories and physical examinations, in alignment with departmental protocols. - Performs intake assessments for women at risk or with Overweight or Obesity and/or symptomatic menopause. - Provides patient education on obesity as a chronic, multifactorial condition, emphasizing long-term health strategies. - Utilizes motivational interviewing to promote a healthy lifestyle, including habit change and formation in the areas of nutrition, activity, sleep, and stress management. - Orders diagnostic tests and prescribes medications within scope of practice and patient care protocols. - Provides virtual and phone-based patient consultations; collaborates with clinical teammates to ensure high-quality, seamless care throughout the continuum. - Performs assessment/data collection in an ongoing systematic manner, focusing on physiological, psychosocial, cultural, spiritual and cognitive status, patient/family education, family dynamics, and patient advocacy. - Consults with supervising physicians and interdisciplinary partners as indicated by patient presentation. - Participates collaboratively with physicians and other clinicians to support quality outcomes, care consistency, and adherence to clinical pathways. - Reviews medical records for follow-up or ordering of diagnostic studies under established protocols. - Establishes and maintains effective working relationships with members of the health care team, patients, and families. - Applies all safety and risk-management principles, ensuring patient confidentiality and regulatory compliance. - Responds effectively in urgent or emergency situations, following established protocols and documenting appropriately. - Demonstrates knowledge of legal issues, including patient confidentiality and risk management in all aspects of patient care and unit functioning. - Demonstrates an exceptional service philosophy in all interactions with patients, families, and all members of the health care team. - Uses clinical technology, EHR systems, and telehealth tools proficiently to document, track, and communicate care. Qualifications - Master’s or Doctoral degree in Nursing (MS, MSN, or DNP); Women’s Health focus is strongly preferred. - Board certification in FNP, AGNP, or WHNP. - Current, unrestricted Kentucky APRN-CNP License and DEA in the state or ability to timely obtain. - Ability to obtain additional state licensure as required. - MSCP Certification from the Menopause Society strongly preferred, or the ability to obtain within a stipulated timeframe. - 1+ years’ Obesity Medicine experience strongly required. - Certificate of Advanced Education in Obesity from OMA or TOS/AAPA a plus. - Lives in KY, IN or PA. • Independently evaluate RFP packages to determine project scope, commercial requirements, risk, and constructability. • Prepare detailed, multi-discipline EPC cost estimates for renewable, distribution, substation, generation, and industrial electrical projects. • Lead the development of full proposal packages, including: • Execution plans • Cost breakdowns and assumptions • Project schedules using MS Project or Primavera • Risk registers and mitigation strategies • Optional pricing and alternate methodologies • Environmental, Safety, Quality, and ITP Plans • Executive summaries • Coordinate and conduct site visits to inform constructability reviews and field-level data gathering. • Review technical documents (e.g., drawings, DBMs, specs) and identify scope gaps or conflicts. • Engage and communicate with subcontractors, vendors, and consultants to secure and validate pricing inputs. • Maintain a record of all estimate basis throughout the development of a proposal. • Lead internal estimate reviews and provide detailed justifications and breakdowns to internal stakeholders. • Conduct final bid submission reviews with the appropriate internal signing authorities. • Participate in strategy development for complex proposals, including alternative methods, value engineering options, and cost-saving opportunities. • Provide peer reviews and mentor junior estimating staff through task collaboration and technical feedback. • Assist in the continuous improvement of estimating tools, templates, and standard practices. • Conduct formal estimate hand-off meetings with the Project Management team after contract award. • Assist with the preparation and submission of change orders and scope adjustments. • Participate in project close-out and post-mortem reviews to support continuous improvement. • Attend regular estimating team meetings to share updates, challenges, and lessons learned. • Submit accurate and timely administrative documentation, including daily timesheets. • Contribute to the maintenance of historical cost data and continuous improvement initiatives within the estimating team.
