Senior Consultant
The Miles Group
• Produce high-quality written deliverables (e.g., executive assessments, coaching plans, etc.) that evidence analytical rigor, sound judgment, and an ability to deduce relevant and insightful recommendations. • Simultaneously advance multiple workstreams across different clients/industries, facilitating seamless coordination and delivery against defined (and sometimes short) timelines. • Lead client interviews that surface specific, high-value insights; build client relationships; demonstrate knowledge of a client’s business to probe effectively and test hypotheses; synthesize feedback into relevant themes. • Credibly represent TMG with external stakeholders at the most senior levels, demonstrating maturity, preparedness, presence, and thoughtful engagement. • Proactively research client industries, companies, and business models such that you can ask relevant questions to uncover deeper insights; be curious and take initiative. • Support Directors and Managing Directors in go-to-market activities, including the creation and refinement of proposals and marketing materials. • Contribute to firm initiatives and projects, as requested, to develop TMG’s internal capabilities. • Role-model TMG’s values and culture of excellence, inclusion, and intellectual rigor.
Job Requirements
- 6-8 years in leadership advisory, management consulting, executive search, or related professional services.
- Graduate degree (MBA, JD, PhD) preferred.
- Superior ability to craft clear, concise, and compelling written narratives that deliver value to C-level decision makers.
- Strong communication skills with an ability to adjust across stakeholders, formats, and settings.
- Structured thinker with strong analytical skills and solutions-orientation; capable of distilling complex data into actionable insights and tailored client recommendations.
- Skilled at identifying themes, connecting patterns across inputs, and framing insights into business-relevant context.
- Have an exceptional eye for detail and quality, ensuring all work meets TMG’s standards of clarity, polish, and professional rigor.
- Adept at structuring and designing high-quality presentations that communicate complex ideas with clarity and visual impact.
- Demonstrated ability to operate with limited oversight, manage and meet deadlines, and drive projects to resolution.
- A team player who collaborates well with a variety of styles and different levels across the firm.
- Resilient, able to manage pressure while maintaining high standards and an even demeanor.
