Job Description

Appraisal Coordinator

JMAC Lending

• Coordinates the appraisal functions and maintains the internal/external pipeline on behalf of the JMAC appraisal department. • Responsible for placing appraisal orders with approved AMC and fee panel. • Reviewing appraisal reports in accordance to JMAC’s, FHA’s, investor’s, and USPAP guidelines upon receipt. • Supporting sales teams and operations with appraisal issues and negotiating turn times with appraisers and vendors. • Guaranteeing quality reports completed by appraisers.

Job Requirements

  • At least two years of experience in a mortgage-related role
  • Familiarity with appraisal regulations and industry standards
  • Knowledge of various loan programs, including Conventional, Government, Jumbo, and Non-QM
  • High School Diploma or equivalent qualification
  • Skilled in using mortgage loan operating software and systems
  • Strong computer literacy, especially in Microsoft Office applications
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities for engaging with both internal and external stakeholders
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • Ability to juggle multiple tasks effectively and prioritize workloads to meet deadlines
  • Capability to work collaboratively within a team and liaise with other departments
  • Adaptability to evolving policies and procedures

Role Description Senior Estimator(s) perform day-to-day functions for the firm’s estimating activities including, but not limited to, serving as the estimating lead on various projects. Responsibilities include: - Pre-bid attendance as needed - Bid management - Vendor databases - Cost databases - Estimating software - Estimating best practices The ideal candidate should have proven experience in construction estimating and possess an understanding of: - Contractual requirements - Conceptual estimating - Design drawings (P&ID, PFD, etc.) - Project specifications - Risk assessment analysis This is a fully remote position and may be based anywhere within the United States. Candidates must be available to work during standard business hours, Monday through Friday, between 7:00 AM and 6:00 PM in their local time zone.
