Role Description The Manager, Revenue Development – Customer Base plays a critical role in growing and deepening relationships with existing customers across the Dayforce platform. This leader is responsible for building, developing, and managing a high-performing Revenue Development team focused on expansion pipeline creation through inbound, outbound, and account-based strategies. Reporting to the VP, Revenue Development and partnering closely with Customer Base Sales leadership, Customer Success, Marketing, and Go-to-Market teams, this role drives pipeline growth and annual contract value (ACV) expansion within the existing customer base. The ideal candidate combines strategic thinking, operational excellence, and people leadership to deliver measurable business outcomes. What You’ll Get to Do - Build, develop, and lead a high-performing Revenue Development team focused on customer expansion opportunities. - Develop and execute strategies to identify and qualify cross-sell and upsell opportunities in partnership with Customer Success and Sales teams. - Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, customer focus, and continuous improvement. - Standardize and optimize operating models, enablement programs, processes, tools, and reporting frameworks. - Define, monitor, and improve key performance metrics including pipeline health, conversion rates, and opportunity generation. - Partner with Marketing and Product teams to align campaigns, messaging, and customer engagement strategies. - Own onboarding, coaching, development, and retention of Revenue Development Representatives (RDRs). - Implement structured onboarding and career development programs to support team success. - Utilize data and analytics to coach team performance and optimize pipeline contribution. - Coordinate closely with Account Managers and Customer Success Managers to identify and advance growth opportunities. - Design scalable processes for territory management, lead distribution, and outreach prioritization. - Establish and maintain service level agreements with Sales and Marketing teams to ensure effective opportunity handoffs. - Drive execution against customer base pipeline targets and support overall revenue growth objectives. Qualifications - 4–8 years of experience in B2B sales, revenue development, business development, or inside sales. - 2+ years of leadership experience managing and developing high-performing sales or revenue development teams. - Proven success driving customer expansion, cross-sell, upsell, or renewal pipeline generation. - Strong understanding of SaaS business models, subscription revenue, and customer lifecycle management. - Experience developing account growth strategies and customer engagement programs. - Strong analytical capabilities with experience leveraging data to improve performance and forecast results. - Experience with sales and marketing technologies such as Salesforce, Outreach, 6sense, Marketo, or similar platforms. - Excellent communication, coaching, and stakeholder management skills. - Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally and influence outcomes without direct authority. - Experience within HCM, HRIS, enterprise software, or related technology industries is an asset.
