• Be Technical Sales Point of Contact: Lead technical demonstrations, proof-of-concepts, and workshops to showcase features, functionalities, and benefits of the company’s offerings. The Role Matia is looking for a technically fluent product marketer to own how we position, message, and bring our platform to market. This role sits at the intersection of product, sales, and go-to-market strategy. You will be the voice of the market inside Matia and the voice of Matia in the market. This is a high-impact, cross-functional position for someone who understands the modern data stack, can translate complex technical capabilities into compelling narratives, and thrives in a fast-moving startup environment. What You'll Do Positioning and Messaging - Own Matia's core positioning, messaging framework, and value proposition across segments and personas - Develop clear, differentiated narratives that resonate with data engineers, analytics engineers, and data leaders - Ensure consistent messaging across all channels and customer touchpoints Content Strategy and Creation - Translate and work with contractors to position into high-impact content including website copy, product pages, blog posts, thought leadership, and technical explainers - Develop persona-specific content that drives awareness, consideration, and conversion - Partner with demand generation to align content with campaign strategy and pipeline goals - Support brand and social media efforts Go-To-Market Execution - Lead product launches end-to-end, coordinating across product, sales, and marketing - Partner with demand generation on campaigns, content strategy, and pipeline programs, including develop account lists based on ICP - Build and maintain sales collateral including decks, one-pagers, battlecards, and objection-handling guides - Support field marketing efforts with messaging, potential on-site presence, and other elements Market and Competitive Intelligence - Conduct ongoing research into buyer needs, market trends, and the competitive landscape - Develop and maintain competitive positioning and differentiation materials - Surface insights from customers, prospects, and the broader data community to inform strategy - Support analyst relationships and position Matia for success in their papers and research Sales and Customer Enablement - Enable the sales team with the tools, training, and content they need to tell a compelling story - Partner with customer success to develop retention and expansion messaging - Capture and operationalize customer proof points, case studies, and ROI narratives What We're Looking For - 4 or more years in product marketing in B2B SaaS; at least 2 of those years should be in data infrastructure company; We’re flexible here - we love candidates that have lived the pain before and been a data engineer - Familiarity with the dbt, Snowflake, Databricks, or broader data tooling ecosystem through prior roles - Strong understanding of the modern data stack including warehouses, ETL/ELT, observability, and governance - Proven ability to translate technical concepts into clear, compelling messaging for both technical and business audiences - Experience partnering closely with product, sales, partnership and demand generation teams - Excellent written and verbal communication skills; fluency in leveraging AI to get sh*t done - Startup experience and comfort with ambiguity and a fast-moving environment; you will be the first product marketing hire here and need to feel comfortable traversing with a lean product team Nice to Haves - Prior experience in a technical role such as data engineer, data analyst, analytics engineer, or solutions engineer - Experience building PMM function or programs from zero to one How to Apply Please submit your application through our company’s job board. • Define and operationalize Matia’s global partnerships strategy across channel, consulting, cloud, ISV, and technology ecosystem partners. • Identify and prioritize Tier 1 partners aligned with Matia’s roadmap, ICP, and revenue goals. • Develop scalable partner frameworks including program tiers, incentives, enablement, and joint business planning. • Build the partnerships function from zero-to-one. • After hitting defined milestones, hire, develop, and lead a high-performing partnerships team. • Source and recruit strategic partners across data consultancies, cloud providers, implementation firms, and data tooling vendors. • Lead end-to-end onboarding: training, product education, access, certification tracks, and co-selling readiness. • Establish structured partner cadences including pipeline reviews, quarterly business reviews, and growth planning. • Build and manage a partner-driven pipeline including referrals, co-sell motions, joint GTM plays, and co-marketing initiatives. • Support partners on active opportunities, partnering closely with Sales, RevOps, Marketing, Product, and Engineering. • Track partner performance and pipeline metrics, providing insights and recommendations for continued growth. • Serve as the voice of partners internally, influencing product roadmap, GTM campaigns, and customer success initiatives. • Collaborate with Marketing to develop joint messaging, partner narratives, launch strategies, and demand programs. • Work closely with Product and Engineering to develop technical integrations, accelerators, and partner-driven use cases.
