In this position you will: - Create SQL-based data models in dbt, working with data engineers, data scientists, and data analysts to refactor legacy code and build new data transformations. - Collaborate with analytics, product, and domain stakeholders to translate business needs into well-modeled datasets. - Work closely with Data Engineers to transition analytical logic into optimized warehouse queries. - Implement data quality checks (dbt tests, sources, freshness) and contribute to monitoring data reliability. - Maintain clear documentation for datasets, lineage, and transformation logic. - Query the data warehouse using SQL to answer urgent business questions, identify trends, and provide data-backed recommendations. - Design, build, and maintain dashboards and reports (using Report-as-Code, Positron, and Tableau) to track key business metrics and performance indicators. - Gain a deep understanding of the Affordable Care Act (ACA) and its regulatory frameworks. - Investigate data discrepancies to identify patterns and find solutions. - Collaborate with engineers, data analysts, data scientists, program managers, and external stakeholders to troubleshoot problems. - Take ownership of task areas and strive to independently resolve challenges. - Complete such other reasonable tasks as may be assigned by management. Qualifications - 2+ years of applied experience working with structured/unstructured data. - An undergraduate degree or higher in a quantitative field or equivalent technical training. - Strong understanding of how to manipulate data using dbt, SQL, and Python. - Experience optimizing data models for query efficiency. - Ability to deeply research both the business logic of ingested data and the business logic needed to build derivative data products. - Interest in investigating problems, solving puzzles, and finding patterns in complex data. - Comfort working independently to drive portions of larger projects. - Experience working in an Agile work environment, reviewing others’ work, and a strong grasp of version control (i.e., git). - Passion in applying your skills to our social mission to solve problems and collaborate within a cross-functional team environment. - The ability to successfully attain and maintain a Federal Public Trust security clearance. Role Description We are seeking a NOC Analyst II to join our Network Operations Center team, supporting hundreds of municipalities and organizations across the United States and Canada. This is a mid-level overnight position for a technically strong professional who can independently manage complex network and system issues, mentor junior analysts, and ensure optimal performance and uptime across client environments.
