Role Description Full Funnel Growth is a remote performance marketing agency. We run SEO and AI search programs for various sectors, including: - Medical aesthetics device manufacturers - DTC eCommerce brands - Regulated retail (cannabis) - Lead generation for service businesses - B2B SaaS The work spans: - Technical audits - Content strategy - Local optimization - International sites across English, French, and Spanish markets We are hiring a part-time contract Senior SEO & AEO Strategist who operates with AI-natively integrated workflows. What you will own - Organic search and AI discoverability strategy for 3-5 accounts across eCommerce, lead gen, and multi-location businesses. - Technical SEO: site architecture, crawl efficiency, Core Web Vitals, structured data, internal linking systems, JavaScript rendering, and indexation management. - AI search visibility: build authority across the citation ecosystem, optimize entities and content for AI sourcing, and implement LLM.txt. - Content strategy rooted in search intent, entity relationships, and topical authority. - Local SEO for multi-location clients: Google Business Profile optimization, local landing page strategy, review management, and local citation building. - Reporting and client communication: weekly write-ups, monthly summaries, and direct calls with marketing directors and CMOs. - Proactive opportunity surfacing: content gap analysis, competitor movement, algorithm shifts, SERP feature changes, and AI citation gaps. How we work, and what we expect on AI - You build, you do not just prompt; capable of reading or writing Python for SEO automation. - Experience using Claude Code, Cursor, or comparable tools in daily workflows. - Understanding of how LLMs source, rank, and cite web content. - Stay current on platform-level changes and algorithm updates. - Write with discipline: label claims accurately and flag missing data. What we are not - Not a generalist digital agency. - Not a content-only role. - Not a coordinator role. - Not a basic definition of AI-forward. Required experience - 7+ years in SEO, with at least two years at an agency owning client relationships and strategy. - Deep technical SEO fluency: site architecture, crawl optimization, structured data, Core Web Vitals, JavaScript rendering, and indexation management. - Demonstrated AEO work, optimizing content and site architecture for AI answer engines. - Strong command of the SEO toolstack: Google Search Console, GA4, Screaming Frog, Ahrefs or SEMrush. - Demonstrated work across both eCommerce and lead gen SEO. - Content strategy depth: topical authority maps and entity-first content architectures. - Local SEO experience: GBP management and multi-location strategy. - Remote work track record with strong written communication. Nice to have - Vertical depth in medical aesthetics, DTC eCommerce, regulated retail, or B2B SaaS. - International SEO experience: hreflang and market-specific search behavior. - Programmatic SEO or large-scale content automation experience. - Familiarity with marketing attribution tools. - CMS familiarity relevant to our clients: Shopify, WordPress, Webflow, Wix. - Looker Studio comfort or willingness to learn. - Paid search literacy as a complement to SEO.
