En ALTEN, trabajamos en diversos proyectos tecnológicos que abarcan industrias como la automotriz, energía, telecomunicaciones y más, ofreciendo soluciones a medida para nuestros clientes. - Diseñar y desarrollar el sistema de cableado para los sistemas de supresión de incendios y quad skid en un Battery Energy Storage System (BESS). - Colaborar con equipos de integración y líderes de ingeniería para garantizar que los diseños cumplan con los requisitos de funcionalidad, seguridad y manufacturabilidad. - Utilizar herramientas como Zuken y SolidWorks Electrical para crear arneses y documentación técnica. - Diseñar arneses para el sistema de supresión de incendios, incluyendo: - Conexiones a sensores de temperatura, bocinas, válvulas actuadas y módulos de liberación. - Rutas de cableado dentro y fuera de los gabinetes del quad pack. - Diseñar arneses para el quad skid, incluyendo: - Conexiones a módulos DC-DC, unidades de gestión del quad skid y sensores internos. - Generar documentación técnica en 2D (diagramas de cableado, listas de materiales). - Colaborar con equipos de integración para asegurar que los diseños cumplan con requisitos funcionales y de fabricación. - Participar en revisiones técnicas para incorporar feedback y ajustar diseños. Qualifications - Ingeniería Eléctrica, Electrónica o Mecatrónica. - Conocimientos en sistemas de cableado. - Experiencia de 1 a 3 años. - Experiencia en diseño de arneses eléctricos utilizando Zuken (preferible) o SolidWorks Electrical. - Capacidad para seleccionar componentes (conectores, terminales, cables) según estándares de corriente, voltaje y ambiente. - Familiaridad con normativas como NFPA 79, UL, IEC 60335 para sistemas eléctricos y de supresión de incendios. - Conocimiento básico de NEC (National Electrical Code). - Capacidad para colaborar con equipos de diseño mecánico para definir rutas de cableado, pasantes y puntos de montaje. - Experiencia en diseño de sistemas que operen en condiciones ambientales adversas. - Elaboración de diagramas eléctricos en 2D y documentación técnica para fabricación y ensamblaje. - Uso de herramientas como AutoCAD Electrical o SolidWorks Electrical para generación de planos. • Lead the power system modeling and simulation function for the Operational Technologies team. • Build, manage, and maintain plant models in PSS®E, PSLF, PSCAD, RTDS, RT-LAB, and similar tools for PV, BESS, wind, and hybrid plants, including plant control systems. • Develop and validate control models for PPC, EMS, BESS controls, inverter-based resources, and microgrid controllers for both grid-connected and islanded operation. • Support the design and simulation of microgrid control strategies, including dispatch logic, mode transitions, load sharing, spinning reserve management, black start, and coordination of solar, storage, generator, and utility interconnection assets. • Perform dynamic, transient, EMT, and stability studies for renewable plants, storage systems, and microgrids. • Lead and represent the Operational Technologies group on all matters related to power systems, controls, and microgrid performance. • Support leadership in responding to DOE/SETO FOAs and other power systems research initiatives and proposals. • Support hardware-in-the-loop and controller-in-the-loop testing for protection, plant control, EMS, and microgrid control systems. • Develop technical documentation, testing procedures, validation methods, and study reports for internal and external stakeholders. • Lead continuous improvement and lessons-learned programs related to modeling, controls, and system performance. • Perform other duties as required by management.

Role Description The Senior Electrical Solutions Engineer provides technical electrical knowledge and support to all Global Solutions Engineering (GSE) activities related to hyperscale clients and is responsible for developing and delivering innovative and effective solutions that meet customer needs and drive business growth. This role is a combination of technical electrical engineering and business development, specifically focused on helping close hyperscale business via data center and product knowledge, solution design, exceptional presentation skills, and knowledge of the NTT Data GDC facilities. The Senior Electrical Solutions Engineer will ensure the highest standards of technical excellence and customer satisfaction, contributing to the overall success of the organization. - Reports to the Director of Americas Region for Global Solutions Engineering and works closely with NTT Data GDC Sales Representatives to develop a thorough understanding of hyperscale customer technical requirements particularly electrical systems. - Consult on electrical system modelling using AmpCalc, ETAP, and other electrical design software. - Networks with internal Sales Engineering team in analyzing RFPs, responding to RFP questions, and participating in client site visits. - Executes the electrical solutioning of hyperscale client requirements in alignment with NTT Data GDC company goals and objectives. - Works closely with NTT Construction and Design Management teams to detail client requirements and identify scope items and variances that impact Non-Recurring Costs (NRC) and Schedules of delivery. - Gathers client electrical requirements and collaborates with other NTT Data GDC teams including Subject Matter Experts, Design Management, and Construction to oversee the development, design, and delivery of complex electrical solutions, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality and performance. - Preparation of the electrical response package for client requests and communicates solutions back to the client in a timely manner. - Drives innovation within the Global Solutions & Sales Engineering team, staying up-to-date with the latest hyperscale industry trends and technologies. - Works closely with the overall Global Product & Sales Strategy team and consults/assists in capacity and space planning with Space/Capacity Management teams. - Works with the Fit-Out teams to implement electrical solutions in existing spaces. - Demonstrates understanding of electrical data center design concepts and differentiators (liquid cooling, maintainable fault tolerant power, security redundancy, etc.). - Supports NTT Data GDC Legal teams in contract and lease reviews, ensuring terms align with both the customer’s and NTT Data GDC requirements. - Works closely with NTT sales representatives, product management, SMEs, design, construction, operations, legal, and customer support teams to ensure seamless integration of solutions and successful project delivery. Qualifications - Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think strategically and make data-driven decisions. - Understanding how to design and optimize virtualized environments for performance, scalability, and reliability is essential. - Knowledge and ability to mark-up electrical and mechanical single lines, as well as floor plan layouts of equipment and systems in AutoCAD, Bluebeam or other drafting software. - A thorough understanding of modern data center and IT client requirements and environments with a primary focus on wholesale customers and their data center requirements. - Knowledge of software applications such as AutoCAD, CFD Modeling, Visio, Word, Excel, Power Point, Project Outlook, SharePoint and Salesforce. - Comfortable speaking/presenting to groups of all sizes. - Demonstrated ability to work in a team/cross-team/multi-site environment. - Manages stress and/or fast-pace effectively. - Excellent problem solver/creative thinker. - Engages customers to extract critical technical and business drivers that may position client deliverables. - Comprehensive ability to work with 3rd party contractors and vendors to aid in the design of large customer infrastructure deployment requirements. - Ability to develop and write a bill of materials and scope of work to meet large customer infrastructure deployment requirements. - Maintains familiarity with competitive offerings to effectively position products and solutions in a competitive environment. - Must possess effective oral and written communications and strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Requirements - Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering required. - 5-7 Years experience with the design, construction, operation, or maintenance of mission critical Data Centers. - Previous technical pre-sales experience desired. - Experience dealing with stakeholders to influence sales desired. Physical Requirements - Operate computer, peripherals, and other office equipment. - Perform work during US business hours and time zones.
