Senior Oracle Specialist

• Installing, configuring and maintaining Oracle Database instances supporting IFS implementations. • Performing Oracle Database patching (PSU / RU / one-off patches). • Executing and supporting Oracle Database upgrades (e.g. 12c → 19c or similar), including planning and execution. • Configuring and managing backup and recovery using RMAN (Recovery Manager). • Performing database restore and recovery activities (both planned and incident-driven). • Working with Oracle Database on Windows and Linux platforms (Windows is dominant; Linux is used on selected servers). • Supporting database migrations between environments (e.g. PROD → TEST / DEV). • Monitoring database health, troubleshooting incidents and resolving performance issues. • Optimizing SQL queries and supporting performance tuning activities. • Adjusting Oracle database parameters based on performance and stability needs. • Providing database-level technical support for IFS Applications / IFS Cloud. • Creating and managing users and roles in IFS. • Supporting IFS upgrades, deployments and integrations from a database perspective. • Working closely with IFS consultants, middleware and infrastructure teams. • Supporting on-premise and cloud-based Oracle environments.
Job Requirements
- At least 5 years of hands-on experience with Oracle Database and IFS Cloud.
- Practical experience with Oracle Database installation and configuration.
- Experience with Oracle Database patching (PSU / RU / one-off patches) and version upgrades (e.g. 12c to 19c or similar).
- Hands-on experience with RMAN backup and recovery, including restore and environment rebuilds.
- Experience in SQL performance tuning and query optimization.
- Experience adjusting Oracle database parameters for performance and stability.
- Supported enterprise applications from a database perspective.
- Familiar with Windows and/or Linux as platforms for Oracle Database.
- Understand production environments, system stability and operational responsibility.
- Communicate confidently in English in an international project environment.
- A hands-on technical practitioner, not only an administrator by title.
- Work in a structured, reliable and proactive way and take ownership of your area.
