Senior Clinical Context Engineer

Doctronic

• Write and refine medical guidelines and prompts that enable our LLMs to provide accurate clinical responses • Translate medical knowledge into structured formats for our agentic workflows and knowledge graph • Ensure AI outputs align with current medical standards across urgent care, primary care, chronic disease management, and medication management • Organize medical databases supporting our AI agents and consensus models • Develop evaluation frameworks to assess LLM performance in clinical contexts • Create metrics specific to diagnosis accuracy, treatment appropriateness, and prescription safety • Day-to-day interaction with engineering team to develop and refine architecture • Gather feedback from our physician network to identify improvement opportunities • Partner with engineering on integration between AI doctor and EHR system

Job Requirements

  • MD, DO, or equivalent; completed residency in any specialty
  • Strong clinical decision-making skills with experience in urgent care, primary care, or internal medicine preferred
  • Data science background and a deep understanding of managing large databases
  • Demonstrated deep knowledge of AI and large language models
  • Experience with or strong interest in prompt engineering
  • Comfort with iterative testing and rapid prototyping
  • Familiarity with EHR systems and clinical workflows
  • Proven ability to manage multidisciplinary teams
  • Exceptional writing and editorial skills for medical content
  • Experience developing clinical protocols or guidelines
  • Previous experience at healthcare technology companies or digital health startups
  • Understanding of HIPAA compliance and healthcare data privacy
