Director of Merchandising

• Develop and lead the global merchandising strategy across e-commerce, retail stores, and international markets • Maintain strong awareness of fashion trends, cultural shifts, and evolving customer preferences • Translate product roadmaps, trend intelligence, and performance data into cohesive assortment strategies • Define SKU architecture, segmentation, and depth across categories and channels • Build pricing frameworks and margin structures in collaboration with Finance, Buying and Product • Own Product Lifecycle Management • Ensure the right product mix, depth, and timing across DTC, retail, and international distribution • Develop channel-specific assortment strategies • Own global analysis of sell-through, margin performance, and inventory productivity • Lead end-of-season reviews and in-season performance insights • Maintain strong awareness of consumer trends, cultural shifts, and competitive dynamics • Serve as a key strategic partner to Product Development, Design, Marketing, Planning, Retail, and Supply Chain
Job Requirements
- 12+ years of merchandising experience within fashion, apparel, or lifestyle brands
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Merchandising, or a related field
- Proven experience operating at the Director level or higher
- Ability to balance strategic category leadership with the day-to-day operational details
- Deep expertise in e-commerce with experience supporting physical retail expansion
- Advanced capability in both e-commerce and retail metrics
- Strategic thinker who balances brand vision with disciplined commercial decision-making
- Possesses a growth-oriented mindset
- A humble, team-oriented leader who builds strong partnerships across the organization
