• Develop and execute strategic and operational plans in close alignment with the Board of Directors • Supervise, inspire, and coordinate daily workflows for the Foundation's network of volunteers • Ensure full legal, ethical, and regulatory compliance for all nonprofit operations • Support the founders and board members in their roles as the public face of the organization • Enhance the organization's visibility by developing compelling multimedia content • Deepen relationships with current and prospective partners, donors, and stakeholders • Provide high-level oversight for peer support groups, research initiatives, and specialized committees • Design and implement a comprehensive annual fundraising strategy

• The Executive Director serves as the chief executive and administrative officer of ACCED-I, providing strategic leadership, operational oversight, and organizational management in close partnership with the Board of Directors. • Responsible for advancing the Association’s mission, ensuring long-term strategic and financial sustainability, cultivating a strong and engaged membership, and positioning ACCED-I as the leading resource for conference and events professionals in higher education. • Implements policies, procedures, and strategic priorities approved by the Board and serves as an ex-officio, non-voting member of the Board of Directors and Executive Committee. • Requires close collaboration with volunteer leadership, Action Teams, committees, and a remote professional staff.

• Guide the Enterprise through the changing landscape of higher education • Act as a bridge between the strategic objectives of the boards and the operational realities of the professional staff and volunteers • Exercise high-level business acumen to plan, recommend and operate within complex, multi-entity budgets • Ensure legal integrity for all four entities • Act as a nimble change agent with vision and strategic thinking skills • Provide executive leadership for talent management by recruiting, building and mentoring a strong, respected leadership team • Foster strong relationships with members, volunteers, donors and stakeholders to enhance member experience and retention • Oversee the growth of each entity to make certain maximum support of the Alpha Chi Omega experience
