Executive Director
The Moran Company Executive Search
• Develop and execute strategic and operational plans in close alignment with the Board of Directors • Supervise, inspire, and coordinate daily workflows for the Foundation's network of volunteers • Ensure full legal, ethical, and regulatory compliance for all nonprofit operations • Support the founders and board members in their roles as the public face of the organization • Enhance the organization's visibility by developing compelling multimedia content • Deepen relationships with current and prospective partners, donors, and stakeholders • Provide high-level oversight for peer support groups, research initiatives, and specialized committees • Design and implement a comprehensive annual fundraising strategy
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of senior-level nonprofit management experience
- A deep, demonstrable passion for the mission of the Munchausen Support Foundation
- Exceptional emotional intelligence with the ability to navigate critical, emotionally charged conversations
- Stellar written, verbal, and presentation skills
- Proven track record of fostering trust with survivors, family members, peer facilitators, and medical professionals
- Demonstrated success in donor cultivation and securing gifts
- Strong ability to read, analyze, and explain financial statements
- Experience reporting to or serving on a nonprofit board of directors
- Sensitivity to, and experience working with, vulnerable populations
