Business Development Manager, Electronics

LACROIX

• Identification and acquisition of new customers and the establishment of new business relationships for the Industry and HBAS business segments • Definition and analysis of target markets and target customers • Development of strategies for systematic market coverage in coordination with Sales Management • Identification and analysis of additional business models and assessment of their feasibility • Handling and tracking of inquiries, including pricing • Offer management from a commercial and technical perspective, in communication with internal specialist departments • Lead responsibility for price and contract negotiations, taking into account the commercial and technical aspects of the internal specialist departments • Transition of acquired new customers from the prototype phase to series production status • Preparation and reconciliation of annual and multi-year sales planning • Building networks and contacts in the target industries; participation in trade fairs, industry events, specialist conferences, seminars and committees • The role is largely field-based; mobile working is of course possible

Job Requirements

  • Successfully completed technical or commercial degree, e.g. in Electrical Engineering, Economics or Business Administration
  • Alternatively, a successfully completed technical or commercial vocational training with subsequent additional qualification
  • At least 5 years of successful experience in product or service sales
  • Industry and market knowledge of electrical engineering/electronics is an advantage
  • Good commercial and technical English
  • Confident user skills in MS Office; experience with SAP is an advantage
  • Extensive travel within Germany and, if required, to other European countries
  • Independent, goal- and result-oriented working style
  • Communication skills, negotiation skills and ability to work in a team
  • High resilience and assertiveness
