• Engage in a wide range of activities that drive our events strategy • Choose venues, plenary speakers, thematic sessions, and workshops for the Annual Meeting • Join a sub-group that oversees the main conference programming • Evaluate registration fees, budgets, and policies related to BES events • Select symposia proposals through an open call and manage their budgets • Review annual plans and budgets for our Special Interest Groups

Job Requirements

  • Experience in one or more of the following areas:
  • Diversity and inclusion strategies and actions
  • Evolutionary, Behavioural, or Microbial ecology
  • Palaeoecology or Environmental Physiology
  • An understanding of the work of the BES.
  • A key interest in representing the BES and its vision and aims.
  • Lived experience of neurodiversity is especially valued.
  • Lived experience of physical and/or mental health conditions that impact day-to-day life is especially valued.
  • Passion for developing inclusive events is especially valued.
