Builders Mutual
• Monitoring agency performance, including production, premium growth, profitability, retention, submission activity, and overall agency results • Developing and executing business plans that support profitable growth and strengthen agency performance • Building, managing, and maintaining strong relationships with appointed agents, producers, and agency leaders • Serving as the primary liaison between Builders Mutual and agency partners • Partnering with agencies on growth opportunities, including larger and more complex account strategies • Educating agents on Builders Mutual products, services, underwriting appetite, eligibility guidelines, pricing philosophy, and cross-selling opportunities • Leading the resolution of agency questions and concerns while ensuring a positive partner experience • Managing territory profitability and implementing action plans to improve growth, retention, and overall performance • Collaborating closely with underwriting, claims, risk management, marketing, and internal partners to support agency success • Staying informed on market trends and competitor activity within the territory
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree and 5–7 years of property and casualty insurance experience, preferably in territory management, agency management, business development, or relationship management
- Strong knowledge of commercial insurance principles, policy language, and underwriting practices
- Ability to build credibility and influence with agency partners and internal stakeholders
- Excellent communication, relationship-building, and presentation skills
- Strong business acumen with the ability to analyze performance and identify growth opportunities
- Self-motivated with strong time management and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while working independently
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and business technology tools
