Role Description Our Mainframe Engineering team is looking for an experienced, senior level zOS System Programmer to help with zOS new release installs, maintenance and OEM installs. This role will require: - Problem tracking, diagnosis and root-cause analysis, replication, troubleshooting, and resolution for complex issues. - Performing programming and debugging activities. - Responding to issues in a timely manner by receiving and investigating incidents or service tickets. - Engaging and managing outside vendors as necessary. - Acting as a resource for teammates with less experience. Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field. - Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in infrastructure engineering. - Strong knowledge of enterprise infrastructure technologies including cloud, network, database, storage, platform, computing, and middleware. Preferred Qualifications - Banking or financial services experience. - z/OS, SMP/e, OSMF workflows, IBM Mainframe experience and applying maintenance, IPL’ing LPAR’s and HMC’s. - Familiarity with taking dumps, traces and gathering appropriate documentation for analysis. - Hands on with RACF and network security protocols (IPSec, AT-TLS, SSH). - Knowledge of Coupling facility support, High Availability, Automation (OPS/MFS) and Parallel Sysplex. - Experience with set up and use of GDPS for disaster recovery and site swaps. - Conversant with mainframe hardware upgrades. - Production use of BCPii (Base Control Program internal interface) and Restful APIs to automate operation procedures. Role Description At Bitso, the Senior Mobile Software Engineer on the Registration Squad owns the identity verification and onboarding experience across iOS and React Native, the entry point for every user who joins Bitso. You will design and deliver reliable, high-quality mobile flows that connect users to KYC providers, guide them through identity verification, and ensure compliance across multiple markets (MX, BR, CO, AR, GI, US). Working closely with product, backend, and compliance stakeholders, you will shape the technical direction of a domain where quality, security, and user experience are non-negotiable, and where your work directly determines whether a user can access financial services.
