Role Description We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Water Treatment Subject Matter Expert (SME) to join our team, supporting our downstream business with a focus on utilizing chemistry to prevent and mitigate challenges associated with the boilers, cooling systems, and wastewater treatment. The ideal candidate will possess deep technical knowledge and expertise in water treatment science and engineering and will be responsible for providing specialized support and guidance on water treatment-related issues across our customers’ operations. This role involves developing and implementing water treatment strategies, solving complex water treatment challenges, troubleshooting upsets and collaborating with various departments to ensure the integrity and optimization of our customers’ assets and their performance. Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering, Environmental Engineering, or related field. Advanced degree preferred. - Minimum of 10-15 years of experience in water treatment within a refinery or industrial setting. - Proven track record of successfully managing Water Treatment control programs and projects.
