Senior Manager, Marketing Platforms & Production Solutions

Role Description Marcus & Millichap is seeking a highly organized and solutions-oriented marketing platforms leader to oversee the day-to-day performance, consistency, and evolution of our marketing production tools and systems. This individual will serve as the central owner of all packaging and production platforms including Buildout, Maxa, and custom InDesign template systems, ensuring they are operating effectively, consistently, and in alignment with the needs of both the enterprise and our Brokerage Transaction Services (BTS) organization. This includes full accountability for tools and templates deployed broadly to agents across the firm, ensuring they remain scalable, reliable, and easy to use. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment and enjoys solving problems in real time. You will act as the go-to resource for platform troubleshooting, vendor coordination, and cross-functional alignment while continuously identifying opportunities to improve workflows, output quality, and user experience. Key Responsibilities - Platform Ownership & Day-to-Day Management - Serve as the primary owner of all marketing production and packaging platforms, including Buildout, Maxa, and bespoke template systems. - Oversee platforms and tools deployed at the enterprise level, ensuring consistent performance, scalability, and usability for agent-facing solutions. - Act as the first point of contact for troubleshooting platform issues, resolving day-to-day challenges quickly and effectively. - Ensure platforms are functioning optimally, with consistent outputs aligned to brand and production standards. - Maintain and oversee template systems to ensure accuracy, usability, and consistency across all marketing materials. - Ensure enterprise-wide tools and templates are maintained and optimized post-launch, with a focus on adoption, ease of use, and consistency. - Vendor Management & Coordination - Serve as the main day-to-day contact for all platform and technology vendors. - Manage ongoing communication, issue resolution, and regular check-ins to ensure strong performance and responsiveness. - Coordinate platform updates, enhancements, and fixes with vendor partners. - Support contract discussions and renewals in partnership with leadership. - Cross-Functional Collaboration - Partner closely with the Creative Director, Senior Manager of Design & Production, Director of Agent Marketing, and Senior Marketing Manager of Agent Experience to ensure platforms support marketing output and user needs. - Work with IS/technology teams to maintain integrations, troubleshoot issues, and ensure data feeds are accurate and up to date. - Act as a connector between marketing, production, and technical teams to keep workflows running smoothly. - Workflow Optimization & Project Execution - Identify and implement improvements to workflows and processes that increase efficiency and reduce friction in marketing production. - Support and project manage platform-related updates, enhancements, and implementations. - Ensure alignment between platform capabilities and the needs of BTS and broader marketing services. - User Support & Adoption - Serve as a resource for internal teams, helping troubleshoot issues and improve day-to-day platform usage. - Partner on training materials and best practices to improve consistency and efficiency across users. - Gather feedback from stakeholders and translate it into actionable improvements. Qualifications - 6–10+ years of experience in marketing operations, marketing technology, production systems, or related roles. - Strong experience managing or supporting marketing platforms, template systems, or production workflows at scale. - Familiarity with tools such as Adobe InDesign, Buildout, Canva, or similar marketing platforms is highly preferred. - Proven ability to troubleshoot issues, manage multiple priorities, and operate effectively in a fast-paced environment. - Experience working with external vendors and coordinating issue resolution and updates. - Strong cross-functional collaboration skills, with the ability to work across marketing, design, and technical teams. - Highly organized, detail-oriented, and solutions-driven. - Familiarity with AI-based tools and emerging technologies is a plus.
