Senior Robotics Technical Support – Field Engineer
Relay Robotics
• Serve as the highest escalation point for complex technical issues • Lead on-site installations and integrations at customer hospitals • Resolve advanced technical issues, deploy new sites, perform repairs • Partner directly with hospital IT and Facilities teams • Own complex hardware, software, and integration escalations • Diagnose navigation, perception, and sensor issues • Troubleshoot WiFi, LTE failover, firewall rules, and cloud connectivity • Analyze logs and telemetry for structured root cause analysis • Lead on-site deployments in hospitals nationwide • Configure robots, networking, and cloud connectivity • Support elevator controller integrations • Conduct site acceptance testing and go-live validation • Perform break-fix repairs and execute preventative maintenance visits • Document findings and recommend reliability improvements
Job Requirements
- 3+ years in robotics, autonomous systems, IT infrastructure, or field engineering
- Strong Linux troubleshooting experience
- Experience with networking (VLANs, firewalls, port validation, WiFi enterprise environments)
- Hands-on hardware repair experience
- Willingness to travel 20–40%
- Ability to work in hospital environments with professionalism and discretion
- Experience with ROS / ROS2 (preferred)
- Cloud platform familiarity (GCP preferred)
- Experience integrating elevators, access control, or building systems (preferred)
- Healthcare IT or regulated environment experience (preferred)
