Role Description We are seeking a creative, results-driven Web & SEO Specialist to lead our client's digital and search presence. This role is essential for an ambitious marketing team that needs a proactive partner to take a new website from an approved design mockup to a complete, high-performance launch. This is the right role for someone who likes building, refining, and taking absolute ownership of a web and search function from the ground up. The ideal candidate will know how to bridge the gap between technical site architecture and conversion design, turning the firm's website into a continuously improving, case-generating engine. - Turn approved design mockups into a fast, polished, fully responsive website, owning it end-to-end after launch. - Build and maintain practice-area pages, location/landing pages, and blog templates within the CMS. - Continuously improve UX, page speed, and accessibility while keeping the site secure, updated, and bug-free. - Ship changes quickly—including new landing pages, design iterations, and experiments—without waiting on an outside vendor. - Own site architecture, internal linking, crawlability, indexation, XML sitemaps, redirects, and Core Web Vitals optimization. - Implement structured data and legal schema including LegalService/Attorney, FAQ, Review, and Breadcrumb variations. - Lead high-intent keyword research focused on case-driving terms, specific injury types, and NYC locations rather than broad head terms. - Structure and optimize on-page content in collaboration with the marketing team while maintaining E-E-A-T and YMYL legal standards. - Manage and optimize Google Business Profile, local citations, and location pages to win NYC local and map-pack visibility. - Contribute to link building and digital-PR efforts alongside the marketing team to build domain authority in a highly competitive market. - Run CRO experiments, optimizing intake forms, click-to-call paths, and live chat to convert organic traffic into signed cases. - Own GA4, Google Search Console, lead/call tracking, and rank tracking to translate data into a prioritized growth roadmap. Qualifications - 3+ years of experience sitting at the intersection of web design/build and SEO (agency or in-house). - Proven experience designing and building fast, modern, conversion-focused websites on Webflow or WordPress. - Strong understanding of technical, on-page, and local SEO strategies with a real track record of moving rankings and traffic. - Highly organized with the ability to manage an entire web launch and migration independently before a strict contract deadline. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Experience in marketing for law firms or other competitive, high-intent local service is preferred. - Familiarity with legal intake tools / CRMs and call-tracking platforms is preferred. - Basic custom code (HTML / CSS / JS) for when the platform needs a nudge is preferred. Requirements - Position: Web & SEO Specialist - Remote Status: Fully Remote - Working Hours: 9am - 6pm EST - Holidays: US Holidays - Salary: USD 1500 - USD 2000 per month - Internal Job ID: 1364
