Job Description

Recruiter

Archy

Role Description We're looking for a strategic, execution-oriented Recruiter to own end-to-end hiring across our Go-to-Market organization, including Sales, Customer Experience, and Marketing, while partnering on hiring across other business functions as the company grows. This role is ideal for someone who has thrived in an early-stage startup, enjoys operating with ambiguity, and is excited to help scale recruiting as the company grows. As our second Recruiter, you'll partner closely with our VP of People and recruiting team to own hiring across Sales, Customer Experience, and Marketing, while our Founding Recruiter focuses on Engineering, Design, and Product hiring. Together, you'll help build a recruiting function that scales with the business while each owning your respective hiring domains. This is a high-visibility, high-impact role with real ownership, influence, and room to grow as the company scales. You’ll operate with a high degree of autonomy in a fast-moving environment, confidently pushing back when needed, maintaining a high bar for talent, and shaping a thoughtful, high-quality candidate experience. Job Responsibilities - Own the full recruitment lifecycle, from intake and sourcing through offer and close. - Partner with hiring managers as a trusted advisor to define role needs, align on candidate profiles, and apply market insights and hiring best practices to deliver a high-quality hiring experience. - Build sourcing strategies by leveraging inbound, outbound, referrals, and creative approaches. - Build and maintain strong candidate relationships through timely communication, thoughtful follow-up, and a high-touch, candidate-first experience. - Manage job postings, pipelines, and candidate data in the ATS with strong attention to detail. - Own interview coordination, feedback collection, and hiring decisions, ensuring efficient, fair, and consistent processes. - Use AI as a core part of your recruiting workflow to source talent, personalize outreach, accelerate execution, and improve hiring outcomes. - Own ATS hygiene and recruiting tooling, leveraging automation and AI where appropriate to ensure accurate data, clear pipeline visibility, and scalable workflows. - Track and analyze recruiting data to inform decisions and continuously improve hiring outcomes and candidate experience. - Help define what “great” looks like at Archy and ensure hiring reflects our values and supports our growing teams. Qualifications - 3+ years of recruiting experience, ideally in a high-growth, early-stage startup environment. - Experience recruiting across Go-to-Market functions, with deep expertise in Sales and Customer roles preferred and experience in Marketing roles is a bonus. - Comfort adopting and experimenting with AI tools to enhance sourcing strategies, personalize outreach, automate repetitive work, and improve recruiting effectiveness. - Comfortable operating within a lean recruiting team, owning outcomes end-to-end, and managing competing priorities. - Experience working in an ATS; familiarity with Ashby is highly preferred. - Strong stakeholder-facing presence with clear communication, expectation-setting, and relationship-building skills. - Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and strong execution skills. - Thrives in a fast-paced, ambiguous, and evolving environment, adapting quickly as priorities change. - Team-oriented, self-directed, and motivated by impact and results. - Passion for creating a positive, inclusive candidate and hiring team experience. Benefits - Competitive salary and equity (some roles may be eligible for performance-based incentives or bonuses) - Health, dental, and vision insurance - 401(k) plan - Flexible vacation policy - Remote-friendly culture

• Lead and develop a team of technical recruiters: coach for quality over throughput, hold a high bar on technical screening and debrief quality, and invest in each person's growth, including those who are already strong. • Partner directly with engineering and product leadership: build trusted working relationships with our CPO, Head of Engineering, and Head of Security; push back constructively when you disagree; bring data and honest assessments to every conversation. • Standardize technical interviewer training: build a program that's practical and low-lift for interviewers and tied to real calibration outcomes for the engineers who interview frequently at Chainguard. • Own recruiting strategy across engineering, product, and security: set sourcing strategy, hiring timelines, and quality thresholds for your function; know when a req needs a different approach and have the credibility to drive that conversation. • Manage a high-volume, high-complexity pipeline: keep your team focused, unblocked, and making good decisions in an environment where priorities shift, and the quality bar is high.
