Role Description Our client is seeking a MarTech Solution Architect to lead the design, governance, and evolution of our customer data and marketing technology ecosystem. This role is responsible for the architecture of client's customer data platform, marketing activation systems, consent and preference management, customer identity resolution, audience activation, and marketing measurement capabilities. The role partners closely with Marketing business stakeholders, Product, Analytics, Data Engineering and Data Architect, Privacy, and the Web Application Architect to ensure customer data is collected, governed, activated, and measured consistently across client's digital experiences. Responsibilities - Own solution architecture for MarTech and customer data ecosystem - Lead development and configuration resources, whether in-house staff or external partners, to deliver MarTech platform implementations, integrations, and operational enhancements - Partner closely with Marketing business stakeholders to translate campaign, lifecycle, audience, personalization, and measurement needs into scalable MarTech solution designs - Lead architecture and governance for the Customer Data Platform, with Segment experience strongly preferred - Define customer event taxonomy, data collection standards, identity rules, and audience data requirements - Partner with the Web Application Architect to ensure web and app experiences generate accurate, privacy-compliant customer data - Architect integrations across lifecycle marketing, analytics, consent, attribution, data warehouse, and paid media platforms - Design customer profile, segmentation, and audience activation frameworks - Support lifecycle marketing, personalization, retention, and acquisition initiatives through reliable customer data architecture - Partner with Analytics and Data Engineering on measurement, attribution, journey analysis, and customer data availability - Serve as technical lead for consent and preference management architecture in partnership with Legal, Privacy, and application teams - Evaluate MarTech vendors, define integration patterns, and maintain platform architecture documentation - Troubleshoot customer data quality, audience activation, and platform integration issues Qualifications - 8-12+ years of experience in marketing technology, customer data platforms, digital analytics, data architecture, marketing operations technology, or related fields - 3-5+ years in a MarTech architect, solution architect, CDP architect, technical lead, or comparable role - Hands-on experience with Customer Data Platforms; Segment strongly preferred - Experience with marketing automation, lifecycle, or customer engagement platforms such as Braze, Customer.io, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Adobe Campaign, Iterable, or similar - Strong understanding of customer identity resolution, profile unification, event taxonomy, audience management, and activation workflows - Experience integrating SaaS marketing platforms using APIs, webhooks, ETL/ELT pipelines, event streams, or cloud data services - Working knowledge of analytics and measurement platforms such as GA4, Mixpanel, Snowflake, or comparable tools - Familiarity with privacy regulations and consent management concepts, including GDPR, CCPA, consent enforcement, and preference management - Ability to communicate technical tradeoffs clearly to Marketing, Product, Engineering, Analytics, Legal, and executive stakeholders - Upper-intermediate or higher English level Preferred Qualifications - Experience with Segment, Braze, Customer.io, Ketch, Branch, Mixpanel, GA4, Snowflake, AWS, Shopify, Google Ads, Meta Ads, TikTok Ads, or similar platforms - Experience with mobile app data flows, deep linking, paid media audience activation, and attribution - Experience in entertainment, media, streaming, ticketing, subscription, loyalty, commerce, or consumer digital businesses - Experience building MarTech governance models, data dictionaries, event catalogs, and platform operating standards Success Measures - Customer data is trusted, well-governed, and available for activation - Event taxonomy and identity resolution are clearly defined and consistently applied - Marketing audiences activate reliably across lifecycle, paid media, and analytics platforms - Consent and privacy requirements are embedded into customer data flows - Marketing, Analytics, Product, and Engineering teams have a shared architecture model for customer data and activation Benefits - 15 fully paid business days of vacation - 15 fully paid sick leaves - 11+ fully paid public holidays - Compensation for health insurance and sport club membership/well-being needs - English courses - Learning platforms - Ability to work from home or remotely
