Virtual Interior Designer

Role Description As a Lennar Virtual Interior Designer I, you will be responsible for the design experience throughout the lifeline of a project. This includes: - Working on entire home models to create beautiful interior spaces based on partner needs, standards, and strict quality requirements. - Virtually staging models for partners and collaborating with various teams within our department such as Operations and Product/Engineering. - Having a genuine interest in staging homes and residential interior design with a willingness to learn and implement feedback from partners and team members. - Managing multiple project timelines and accurately updating statuses across project management systems. Responsibilities on the Team - Create entire home designs based on client needs and department standards. - Space Planning, Lighting, Product Selections, Wallpaper, wood trim, or wall tile selections for various projects. - Ability to read and understand floor plans and/or architectural documents. - Deliverables: Static renders and virtual tours completed by a given due date in various stages of the project lifeline. - Collaborate & communicate clearly and effectively across all internal teams. - Style merchandising models based on a design presentation & specification document. 3D Duties - Perform quality checks when needed and work closely with the Technical Designer and/or 3D ops team to ensure models are at industry standards. - Work closely with Project Managers to problem solve technical errors and offer support when needed. - Generate Virtual Tours (VT) as needed to support Technical Teams. Qualifications - Has an Interior Design and/or Architecture Degree or equivalent experience/background within interior design and real estate industries. - Residential merchandising or home staging background is preferred. - Must be able to read construction drawings and architectural plans proficiently. - Tech-savvy – experience with Auto-CAD, SketchUp, Rhino, and/or Revit preferred. - Experience in Airtable or a similar project management system is preferred. - Understands the nature of the residential construction industry and is quickly able to adapt to changes. - Willingness to learn and implement critical feedback from partners and team members. - Excellent project & time management skills. - Ability to work with remote teams asynchronously, and in different time zones. - Must be an energetic, creative team player who takes initiative. - The candidate must have critical thinking abilities and be excellent at multitasking. Physical & Office/Site Presence Requirements - This is primarily a sedentary office position which requires the Virtual Interior Designer to have the ability to operate computer equipment, speak, hear, bend, stoop, reach, lift, and move and carry up to 25 lbs. - Finger dexterity is necessary.
