Retail District Manager

• Provide effective leadership and management to the Retail Coverage Merchandiser/Lead Merchandiser team. • Develop and maintain a strong understanding of the company’s business model, client and customer details and expectations. • Spend a minimum of 50% of your time working in-store. • Manage assigned work to completion, on time, and with high-quality results. • Assign work to the team and ensure that all jobs have the appropriate level of support. • Understand and optimize selling effectiveness in assigned territories. • Partner with store personnel to achieve and maintain merchandising excellence. • Ensure company policies are followed by directly managed associates. • Communicate retail territory responsibilities to the MEI admin team.

Job Requirements

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Associate degree is preferred.
  • Some college with prior management/supervisory experience with a minimum of 2+ years industry experience.
  • Prior sales agent, retail, customer service or reset responsibility.
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, decision making and leadership skills.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively with others.
  • Self-starter and have a strong attention to detail.
  • Quick learner and be flexible to changing work environments.

Role Description This role supports the sales team while independently managing select accounts and identifying new business opportunities. Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree preferred (Business, Fashion Merchandising, or related field). - 1–3 years of experience in sales support, merchandising, or account management (apparel preferred). - Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, data organization). - Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail. - Familiarity with major retail accounts (e.g., REI, Costco, TJX, Sierra, etc.) is a strong advantage. - Experience with NuORDER, Unify and SPS is a plus. Requirements - A self-driven professional who takes ownership of results. - Enjoys the freedom of working independently while being part of a collaborative team. - Skilled at connecting with people and building lasting relationships. - Motivated by flexibility and high earning potential.
