Role Description As the Lead Engineer – Support, you will handle complex and escalated application and network infrastructure support cases while serving as a technical resource for integration and delivery activities within the entroCIM platform. This role supports the implementation and ongoing operation of customer environments, including system integration, data flow validation, and platform functionality. You will collaborate closely with engineering, deployment, and customer teams to ensure reliable, scalable solutions, while also contributing to Master System Integration (MSI) efforts across the full lifecycle from integration through visualization. - Support end-to-end system integration, including point integration, protocol mapping, data normalization, and tagging across OT/IoT systems - Assist in delivery of MSI implementations, including development of floorplans, equipment graphics, and data visualizations - Partner with deployment and engineering teams on system validation, testing, and commissioning activities - Contribute to standardized deployment and support processes (runbooks, documentation, troubleshooting workflows) - Experience with Master System Integration (MSI) within smart buildings, industrial, or IoT environments - Hands-on experience with SkySpark, Tridium Niagara, or similar platforms - Experience with data normalization, tagging frameworks (e.g., Haystack) - Working knowledge of OT/IoT protocols (BACnet, Modbus, MQTT, etc.) - Scripting or programming experience (e.g., Python, Axon) for data processing, automation, or analytics Qualifications - Bachelor's Degree - Engineering related discipline required; Master’s Degree preferred - Licenses/Certificates/Designations - IT industry networking certifications such as CCNP or JNCIP; ITIL or equivalent - Minimum 5 years of experience supporting network and AV operations - 5 years required delivering support in ethernet technologies/AV and networking concepts - Advance knowledge of platform OS (router platform, VxLAN, WAN, LAN & routing protocols) and how they interact with the network - Ability to apply principles, theories, and concepts, as well as knowledge or related networking/AV disciplines - Advanced skills and knowledge and adherence to change management process - Network routing & switching - Possess a customer-centric mindset - Possess strong computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint - Excellent oral and written communication Benefits - Compensation may include participation in a bonus or sales incentive plan, subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable plan documents - For certain sales roles, Wesco offers a commission structure that provides additional compensation based on sales results - Wesco offers a benefits program for eligible employees, which may include paid time off, medical, dental, and vision coverage, and retirement savings plans Company Description At Wesco, we build, connect, power and protect the world.
