Job Description
Senior Strategic Initiatives Manager
Veeam Software
• Identify, frame, and solve high-priority business problems across the organization. Defining the right question before designing the solution, and driving that solution through to measurable outcomes • Lead these strategic priorities end to end: not just coordinating workstreams, but actively shaping the approach, making tradeoff decisions, and ensuring the work lands with real impact • Design solutions to complex cross-functional challenges and gaps, bringing structure to ambiguous problems and building the operational and organizational logic needed to move forward • Apply a strategy and insights lens to all initiative work: use data, market context, and business fundamentals to sharpen problem framing, pressure-test assumptions, and ground recommendations in sound logic • Drive alignment and decisions across senior stakeholders and functions – synthesizing competing perspectives, surfacing tradeoffs clearly, and moving leadership toward action • Bring SaaS business fluency to initiative design, understanding how product adoption, retention, and expansion dynamics connect to the problems being solved • Champion an AI-first approach to how work gets done to accelerate progress and multiply impact

- Familiarity with SaaS business models and the levers that drive product adoption, expansion, and retention

- Exceptional executive communication and storytelling skills (written, verbal, and visual) with the ability to synthesize complexity into crisp narratives for senior audiences
- Strong facilitation and influence skills; able to drive alignment across senior stakeholders without direct authority
- High bias for action, strong intellectual curiosity, and a collaborative working style with low ego
