Role Description The Senior Artworker is responsible for producing digital artworks and reprographics/colour separation in a timely, accurate, efficient and profitable manner, in accordance with standard working practices/operating procedures. The Senior Artworker will support the activities (day to day and development) of all individuals working within their designated area of responsibility. This role is based remotely in one of the following locations: KL or Penang, Malaysia. What You’ll Do - Support the Production Manager with the day to day running of your designated area of responsibility. - Consider the impact of commercial decisions and seek ways to optimise profitability and delivery. - Perform pre-artwork build activities such as pre-flight checks etc. - Reference applicable Trident generic and customer specific standard working practices (SWP) to effectively create and amend digital artworks in accordance with client requirements, brand rules and printer requirements, ensuring a minimum 90% RFT is achieved and applying reprographics/colour separation when required. - Consideration of font usage and language requirements. - Create and amend brand rules. Support the client’s brand through the performance of range checks, ensuring brand consistency is maintained throughout the full project range. - When necessary support the client facing team; customer demonstrations, attending client meetings, conference calls etc. - Scope and lead the delivery of various artwork projects which meet both Trident and the client’s requirements in terms of quality and timescales. - Project management (prioritise, plan, track, report and stakeholder communication) of artwork projects from receipt of brief to completion. - Work closely with the account specific PPM; create print trial files and carry out colour retouching/colour correction for all print disciplines. - Coach, mentor and support the development of all staff within the designated scope of responsibility, in accordance with client account requirements and applicable SWP. - Identify and constructively raise issues with relevant team members. - Promote best practice and foster an environment of continuous improvement. - Support the Operations Management team through the investigation of process improvements, making recommendations for process improvements and automation. - Undertake root cause and corrective action investigations. - Support the introduction of technology changes through system testing, communicating issues/potential issues.
