• Take end-to-end ownership of UI for features and live ops content: wireframes, mock-ups, user flows, prototypes, original icons and illustrations, final visuals, and in-engine implementation • Craft polished, on-brand UI art from scratch: icons, illustrations, banners, offer images, event key art and other custom visual assets that make screens feel premium and lovingly hand-made • Work closely with our sister game Sunshine Island: understand their UI designs and underlying intent, adapt them to BFH’s audience and visual language, and share learnings back with the SI team • Integrate UI into Unity yourself - building and wiring prefabs, anchors, layouts, responsive scaling - in close cooperation with programmers and tech artists • Bring UI to life with animation in Unity (Timeline, DOTween, Animator) to create polished transitions, feedback and juice • Maintain and extend our UI design system - including the icon and illustration library - to keep visual and interaction consistency across the product • Apply UI/UX best practices for mobile devices and advocate for the player across the team • Collaborate closely with game design, art, balancing, QA and engineering - challenging UX where it can be better, and unblocking others when UI is the bottleneck • Keep an eye on the latest tooling (including AI-assisted workflows) and bring improvements back to our processes
Job Requirements
- Several years of professional experience in UI/UX design and UI production in the mobile gaming industry
- Strong artistic skills with a portfolio of UI artwork: original icons, illustrations, banners and event/offer visuals you have produced from concept to final asset
- Proven hands-on experience integrating UI in Unity (UGUI, prefabs, anchors, layouts, responsive scaling for mobile)
- Strong UI animation skills in Unity using Timeline, DOTween, Animator or equivalent
- Proficient in Figma for design, handoff and design-system work
- Expert-level proficiency in Adobe CC (Photoshop, Illustrator) - able to deliver high-quality icons, illustrations, banners, offer images and marketing-adjacent UI art that meets the visual bar of a polished mobile game
- Comfortable with Git (or equivalent VCS): branching, merging UI assets, resolving conflicts without drama
- Excellent communication skills in English and a strong collaborative mindset - able to work effectively across disciplines and time zones, explain technical trade-offs to non-technical stakeholders, and proactively raise issues early
- Solid understanding of UI/UX information architecture, interaction design and industry standards for mobile games
- A self-motivated individual with a passion for mobile and casual games, strong analytical skills and a strong customer focus
- Additional skills to impress us: Curiosity for and hands-on experience with AI image-generation and AI-assisted design tooling, with ideas on how to bring it into a production pipeline
- Experience with UI shaders / Shader Graph for stylized UI effects
- Familiarity with Jira and Trello for tracking UI/art tickets
- Completed degree in Media Psychology, Graphic Design, Game Design or a similar subject
- Sample work showcasing UI animation and shader experiments in Unity

Role Description The Retouching Artist supports QVC and HSN, and is responsible for QVC & HSN's vendor-provided image and product detail image workflows. You will become an expert regarding both brands' image specs for vendor-provided content and how to process, load, and archive these assets. Additionally, you will assist the team with treating product detail images, daily administrative tasks, and other creative responsibilities. We are only able to consider you for this remote role if you live in PA, NJ, or DE. Relocation assistance is not available for this role.
