Role Description We’re looking for a Developer to join our established and high-impact team at Go1. This role will play a key part in building and evolving our product as we continue to transform how we deliver learning experiences. At Go1, we’re entering a transformative phase as we rebuild our product with AI at the core. We’re heavily leveraging LLM-driven development across our workflows, and we expect our engineers to do the same. This means you’ll be working closely with AI-powered tooling as part of your day-to-day, using it to experiment, iterate, and deliver smarter, faster outcomes. This is a broad, product-focused role where you’ll work across a range of challenges, partnering closely with product, data, and the wider business to deliver meaningful impact. Day to day, your responsibilities will include: - Writing, testing, building and deploying high-quality software. - Performing code reviews, writing tests and resolving software issues. - Collaborating with team members to solve problems and design solutions. - Contributing to the documentation and knowledge base of your team. - Participating in, and contributing to the team's agile processes. - Learning and growing your development skills. Qualifications - A growth mindset: you need to be passionate about learning. - Approximately 2 years of full-time, professional software development experience. - Comfortable in or to learn of at least one of our core development platforms: NodeJS, PHP, React, Typescript. - An understanding of how to test software, from unit testing to system testing. - Proficient written and verbal communication, and ability to explain technical concepts clearly. - Ability to communicate both verbally and written in English. Requirements - Experience in both UI and service development (desirable). - Experience in SaaS or product development (desirable). - Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure), service oriented architectures, API-driven development or microservices (desirable).
