Lead - Trade and Structured Finance Surveyor

• Independently conduct Open Account - Supply chain surveys (for various products offered under factoring – with/without recourse products, Insurance backed products, PDC discounting, Trust receipts etc.,) for potential factoring clients spread RBG(Business Banking) division. • To add value in the debtor/supplier selection and limit setting process based on findings from the survey and due diligence. • To ensure that any instances of dilution of invoice values are clearly pointed out and risks of these are clearly identified. • To make reasoned recommendations on structure and parameters of factoring facilities, after analyzing the credit management processes, controls and collection systems to ensure that risk to reward ratios are acceptable. • Seek ad hoc approval from credit. • To assist fellow surveyors, FTG Product Managers and Business Banking RMs on structuring of complex factoring facilities. • Effectively surmount the unfamiliarity of the product in the market place and overcome resistance of clients to the survey process. • To ensure timely action has been taken on FCI messages circulated internally. • To assist the Factoring operations/Clients on day to day operational queries, which require close interaction/relationship with the Client/FTG Ops to ensure smooth service levels. • Training of Junior Surveyors/new joiners. • Conduct periodic reviews to assess the viability of continuing factoring facilities. • To monitor, understand and escalate risk exceptions by using tools such as statistical analysis and propose suitable risk mitigants to improve control on an ongoing basis. • To identify opportunities to bring improvements in existing offerings thereby identifying the potential for other factoring products. • Wherever required, to apply for & monitor credit insurance limits/ Opinion report.
Job Requirements
- To ensure that a client survey is undertaken earliest possible after lead has been given and that survey report turnaround times are strictly as per SLA or better.
- To ensure that debtor/Supplier risks and invoice dilution instances are clearly identified, documented and facility structure is recommended in a way so as to mitigate these to the extent possible.
- To be careful not to offend client sensitivities while ensuring there is no dilution to the integrity of the survey process.
- Provide industry research reports and peer group analysis.
- Conduct Surveys for RBG group also covering various geographies (including but not limited to GCC countries).
- Render full support to fellow surveyors/RMs/FTG PDG MGR, while maintaining independence and integrity of the survey.
- Maintain cordial relationship with clients, without diluting the validity of the survey.
- Identify and resolve areas of concern that crop up during the survey process.
- To provide suggestion/feedback on risk mitigation.
- Suggest corrective measures for improving factoring structure and account conduct.
- Proactive approach for resolving issues with all interdependencies.
- Resolving customers complains related to operational issues.
- To independently make recommendations on factoring facilities and structure based on survey findings without being influenced by marketing considerations.
- To comment on the account conduct/ behavior of client and make suggestions to Prod MGR /RM.

Role Description Short term consultancy assignment commencing Early August 2026, for 21 person-days in IRAQ/Remote. Save the Children Australia seeks a qualified consultant or a consultancy firm to undertake an Economic and Financial Analysis to inform the GROW project’s feasibility study and Funding Proposal. The consultant will lead the development of the Economic and Financial Analysis (EFA) for Iraq, including: - Preparing a full EFA in line with GCF requirements - Assessing the economic viability, cost effectiveness, and long-term benefits of proposed GROW interventions - Developing replicable EFA models and methodologies suitable for future education climate proposals - Supporting the design team to integrate EFA findings into the Funding Proposal The analysis will inform the feasibility, efficiency, and effectiveness of the GROW project and strengthen the investment case for climate resilient education in Iraq. The consultant will work closely with the Design Team Leader and Save the Children staff in Iraq to access data, validate findings, and ensure contextual accuracy.
