This role assists in facility management, personnel supervision, and the development and promotion of campus-wide wellness initiatives while ensuring a safe, clean, and welcoming environment. Key responsibilities include the following but not limited to: - Oversee daily Wellness Center operations by providing excellent customer service, maintaining facility cleanliness and safety, and ensuring proper equipment functionality. - Deliver fitness instruction and wellness programming, including fitness assessments, equipment education, injury prevention guidance, and live/virtual group fitness classes. - Promote and coordinate campus-wide wellness initiatives, engaging students, faculty, and staff through programs, presentations, and wellness challenges. - Support personnel management and operations, including training, scheduling, and supervising work-study employees in collaboration with the Wellness Center Director. Minimum and Additional Requirements This position requires a fitness certification from an accredited NSCA program. Preferred Qualifications Preferred candidate will have working knowledge of fitness instruction, exercise safety, and wellness principles. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively. Successful candidate will have experience in customer service, fitness instruction, or wellness programming.
