Projects include frequent travel to conduct on-site product evaluations. Some International travel required. - Initiates communication with clients and AHJ's to promote and explain the benefits of new and existing services. Communicates with clients to discuss technical issues, explain UL procedures and requirements, and negotiate completion date and sample requirements. - Responds to address client concerns and to resolve any complex client issues - Provides technical assistance to clients in reference to product evaluations and plans review - Represents UL at meetings of outside organizations and provides presentations on a variety of code and certification related technical topics. - Determines areas in which the product may not be in compliance with Standard based requirements - Plans, conducts, and supervises code and regulatory related projects of major magnitude and scope. - Serves as Project Handler of record and signs as Reviewer of record as assigned - Resolves complex engineering issues by analyzing and reporting on the acceptability of the field-based product evaluations - Develops test requirements for products beyond the scope of existing standards, or those involving unique features requiring frequent use of independent judgment - Develops special test methods and test equipment. - May provide direction as a Primary Designated Engineer for specific product categories - Performs other duties as directed - Integrates continuous improvement concepts and techniques into all aspects of the job. - Read and follow the Underwriters Laboratories Code of Conduct and follow all physical and digital security practices. QUALIFICATIONS - Detailed knowledge of the technical vocabulary common to the field evaluation business - Expert knowledge of NEC, Building Codes, Regulatory and conformity standards in use in areas of expertise - Demonstrated ability to apply project-handling concepts in use in areas of expertise, including application to complex, new, or unusual products - Experience with Hazard Based Engineering concepts - Working knowledge of industry issues, needs, and problems - Experienced with the utilization of Electrical Test Equipment - University Degree (Bachelor's degree) in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Industrial Technology, Manufacturing Technology, or Physics from an ABET accredited program - Strong written and verbal communications skills - Strong client-interfacing skills - Ability to work remotely - Ability to travel frequently - Strong computer skills. - A commitment to be a lifelong learner - Hazardous Locations background a plus Candidate needs to be located close to airport due to high travel requirements. The estimated salary range for this position is $97,000 to $120,000 and is based on multiple factors, including job-related knowledge/skills, experience, geographical location, as well as other factors. This position is eligible for annual bonus compensation with a target payout of 10% of the base salary. This position also provides health benefits such as medical, dental and vision; wellness benefits such as mental and financial health; and retirement savings (401K) commensurate with the standard rewards offered in each individual location or country. • Travel to customer sites to perform service and customer support • Diagnose and correct malfunctions on all equipment • Provide customer training on standard Munters equipment • Provide technical feedback on equipment by submitting detailed field service reports • Communicate professionally with customers in a service-orientated manner both in person, writing and proper phone skills • Promote sales and service on company equipment

• Install, service, repair and maintain products, distributed by Baxter/Hillrom. • Establish & maintain timely customer communications & relationships, along with other key partners (e.g. team members and business units). • Report all relevant service activity, ensuring updated and accurate service data in the service system (all work orders should be closed within the same day). • Responsible for maintaining and documenting the assigned calibration equipment. • Provide technical support for in-bound calls from customer & patients, detail the job on the system and undertake the relevant actions. • Maintain up-to-date technical competence in assigned products by successfully completing the relevant training and development. • Be the technical expert and support for customers, account managers and engineers. • Provide technical feedback into contracts & tender submissions. • Review critical metrics regularly and adapt the working practices to ensure service level is maximised.
