Job Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in journalism, healthcare communications, health tech content, public relations, or editorial strategy.
- A strong portfolio of published work in healthcare technology, digital health, health IT, hospital operations, healthcare data, interoperability, EHRs, cybersecurity, or related fields.
- Experience writing for executive audiences, particularly CIOs, CMIOs, CFOs, health information leaders, IT directors, and healthcare operations leaders.
- Strong understanding of how healthcare organizations evaluate technology vendors, manage EHR transitions, modernize data infrastructure, and address data accessibility challenges.
- Demonstrated ability to turn complex technical and operational topics into clear, compelling, and credible narratives.
- Experience drafting press releases, contributed articles, media pitches, and executive thought leadership.
- Familiarity with SEO best practices, content authority signals, and emerging answer engine optimization strategies.
- Existing relationships with healthcare IT publications, trade media, editors, analysts, or industry newsletters is strongly preferred.
- Ability to work independently, interview subject matter experts, synthesize complex ideas, and deliver polished content with minimal oversight.
